Is this a real question?
If it weren't OK, I would suspect that the government had been overthrown and we are now living in an Evangelical/Fundamentalist Theocratic nightmare.
Should It Be OK For Americans To Deny The Holocaust?
G. Dickerson is a public school teacher in Chicago. He does not consider himself a Christian. He does not believe Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead. He does not believe Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God. He believes the Jesus legend is a conflation of pagan myths that trace back through antiquity. He believes it is a form of sun worship. He believes religion is a private matter and has no place in public life. In March of this year he attended a conference of atheists at the University of Chicago.
E. Dickerson is a public school teacher in Chicago. He believes nearly 70 million people died during WWII, many of them Jews. However he believes the assertion that 6 million Jews were targeted and killed in Nazi concentration camps is impossible and an obvious exaggeration. He says the Holocaust myth has been perpetuated for political purposes and leveraged to secure excessive entitlements for the state of Israel. He has researched the matter and concluded that not 1 Jew was ever killed in a gas chamber and that the German war machine barely had fuel for its tanks, let alone fuel to cremate millions of Jewish bodies. In March of this year he attended a Holocaust Revisionist conference at Northwestern University.
Which man has a better chance of keeping his job?
"To this day there are those who insist that the Holocaust never happened. A denial of fact and truth that is baseless and ignorant and hateful.
"This place is the ultimate rebuke to such thoughts. A reminder of our duty to confront those who would tell lies about our history."
if the President can say that ...
why can't the President say this?:
"To this day there are those who insist that Jesus of Nazareth never lived. A denial of fact and truth that is baseless and ignorant and hateful.why can't the President say this?:
"This place is the ultimate rebuke to such thoughts. A reminder of our duty to confront those who would tell lies about our history."
DMG got it right. " we are now living in an Evangelical/Fundamentalist Theocratic nightmare."
However, Christianity has been replaced by secularism and the Holocaust Religion, which is really the worship of Jews. Its about faith. No one "believes" the Holocaust happened as it's popularly told because they reviewed the evidence. People who say they "believe" the Holocaust happened say it because of faith. No one has ever seen a homicidal gas chamber at one of these concentration camps capable of killing dozens let alone thousands of people. But we all believe they were there for the same reason Christians believe Jesus walked water and healed the sick. Faith.
The difference, is that it is not against the law to disbelieve Christianity. The Law making it illegal to doubt or question the Holocaust just rounded third and is headed home.

Define "OK."
Do you mean should Americans be allowed to deny Jesus?
Sure.
Do you mean that Americans should be allowed to deny the Holocaust?
Of course.
Do you mean nobody should criticize or ostracise folks who do either of those things?
Well then you've got a problem. If you try to control their response, how is that any different from them trying to control your actions?
It's not.
Oh yeah, did you happen to see this?

Big Man,
Just checked out that YouTube link. I was not shocked at all. I'm hoping the idiots who were "smart enough" to make threats against a standing president ON CAMERA, are hunted down and harassed...just for being stupid. But I'm vindictive that way.
Should It Be OK For Americans To Deny The Holocaust?
There's no such thing as "The Holocaust." Several groups of people have suffered holocausts, perhaps none greater than the indigenous peoples of North and South America at the hands of criminal European invader settlers.
That’s why this statement by Barack Obama demonstrates colossal historical ignorance: “anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust.”
Did Europeans of the Jewish persuasion suffer a holocaust during the reign of the Third Reich? Absolutely! Is that holocaust justification for the theft of Palestinian land and the establishment of Apartheid Israel? Hell No!
Anonymous you are a damned fool. You fell into the trap of comparing suffering. So nobody suffered as much as the people in North and South America? Get real. Suffering isn't something that can be measured on a scale. Someone from the Armenian genocide or a Black American or a Cambodian from the Pol Pot days or a Hutu or a Tsutsi can all say that they have a monopoly on suffering and in their eyes it is true.
Don't fall for the trap of quantifying suffering, it is a stupid needless exercise in futility.
DV: Interesting that you posted this because the latest is that our President went to Germany and saw the human ovens at a concentration camp.
I have seen a few posters that are into denying the Holocaust. What do they say to this?
Lastly, I know some people don't believe in the Holocaust for whatever reason. Will we be denying that we interned Japanese people or Chinese people last century in time?
However, Christianity has been replaced by secularism and the Holocaust Religion, which is really the worship of Jews.
Brother Vesey:
Is the fight over the quantity and/or the methodology in which Jews were killed by an agent who IN THE PAST desired to see them dead any less frivolous than are the Black people who leverage the debate over the quantity of Africans that were snatched from Africa when the slave trade was legal?
In both cases there is an attempt to leverage PAST VICTIMIZATION for PRESENT sympathies.......and the construction of monuments around which a linkage to this past can be made for future generations in perpetuity.
While their mutually used phrase of "Never Again" is justifiable.......in too many cases their focus on these past grievances limits those of them living in the present from crafting a fully actualized future for those who will come after them, seeking to know "What is the essence of my own people?"
Good questions Mahndisa.
To deny "the Holocaust" is like denying 911.
We all know something happened.
What exactly happened is obviously a subject of intense debate and interpretation.
What is popularly described as "the" Holocaust is 1 particular unique interpretation of events during WWII.
There are perhaps hundreds of different interpretations.
The interpretation which insists 6 million Jews were deliberately killed simply because they were Jewish - mainly in Homicidal Gas chambers and then cremated in ovens - is 1 EXTREME interpretation that fails the most casual factual review.
(The 6 million number was not used in conjunction with the Holocaust until the 1970's).
This extreme Holocaust meme has come to dominate all other historical interpretations. The people who advocate it are fanatics and zealots who have managed to force their interpretation of historical events upon not only people worldwide, but governments and educational institutions by making any discussion of it virtually forbidden.
Nearly 70 million people lost their lives during WWII. Excessive focus on 1 groups suffering (exaggerated or not) reduces the significance of what happened to everyone.
Mahndisa "The Holocaust" has become a powerful mind control tool used to force feed a particular world view on the rest of us.
Were one to deconstruct American foreign policy in the Middle East and the disproportionate support of the Zionist regime, one would discover the ideological currency of "the" Holocaust drives an expensive and deadly strategy not in the interest of the American people.
Even having this discussion, one risks being accused of "anti-Semitism", which has evolved to mean saying or doing anything some Jews don't like.
Also.
The silence of academics, journalists and thinking people regarding this subject is very dangerous.
Compare the muted silence and feigned ignorance of a David Mills on this subject to his vitriolic disdain for those of us who dare question the efficacy of injecting our children with mercury laden vaccines.
(I got $5 that says he will dutifully inject at least one accusation of "anti-Semitism" or Jew Hatred on this thread and then retreat. Brotha gotta get a check you know)
Where is the foam mouthed contempt for these historical and intellectual bullies, that our friend CNu expressed towards those of us deeply saddened by the specter of millions of children aborted each year?
We can all argue about those subjects.
But dare ask what really happened in WWII and one risks ostracization or worse.
I was taught a man deserves what he accepts.
The American people have been conditioned to accept this anti-intellectual dogma, while at the same time being taught to reject God and religion.
The God of "Do Unto Others" has been supplanted by the God of "Do Unto Jews".
I believe we are all God's children. Not just 1% of the world's population.
Where is the foam mouthed contempt for these historical and intellectual bullies, that our friend CNu expressed towards those of us deeply saddened by the specter of millions of children aborted each year?
First off, CNu not a friend to ANY of your little stankazzed flying monkeys DV. (and even though you should be shot with hot pee for abusing your powers, I won't throw any water on you to help liberate those retarded feces flingers from your beautiful memetic wickedness brah)
I take my hat off to you for that polio communion joint. Sheer marketing genius mang! That's worthy of perpetual enshrinement not only in the blogospheric hall of fame - that joint is worthy of Madison Avenue accolades, f'realz. You needed to get paid for that.
Second, deez jooz ain't doin jack to me or to anybody I know and/or like. Where is your egoistic respect for them as powerful competitors on the field of memetic achievement brah.
Don't hate. Congratulate.
GSJS - in full muhphuggin effizzi...,
Anonymous you are a damned fool. You fell into the trap of comparing suffering.
Ms. Rigmaiden, I may be a damned fool, but I did not compare suffering.
So nobody suffered as much as the people in North and South America?
Did you really read what was written: Several groups of people have suffered holocausts, perhaps none greater than the indigenous peoples of North and South America at the hands of criminal European invader settlers. They key words there are “several;” “perhaps,” and “criminal European invader settlers.”
European Americans are in deep denial that their ancestors committed genocide against the indigenous peoples of this land. That’s why I made that statement; not to compare the loss of 60-70 million people (across North and South America) to the loss of 6 million people.
Someone from the Armenian genocide or a Black American or a Cambodian from the Pol Pot days or a Hutu or a Tutsi can all say that they have a monopoly on suffering and in their eyes it is true.
Ms. Rigmaiden, the only group on the planet which claims to have exclusive rights to the use of the English word “holocaust” are Europeans of the Jewish persuasion.
Thus, Mr. Vesey is correct when he says: “Nearly 70 million people lost their lives during WWII. Excessive focus on 1 groups suffering (exaggerated or not) reduces the significance of what happened to everyone. ‘The Holocaust’ has become a powerful mind control tool used to force feed a particular world view on the rest of us.”
No other group which has been a victim of ethnocide, genocide, or a holocaust has ever claimed to have a monopoly on suffering. You’ve made a mountain out of the proverbial molehill.
Denmark Vesey is school.
nucca jes need to raise the admissions standards and discontinue his flying monkey affirmative action program.....,
Part deity myths predate Jesus, as do virgin birth myths. People should quit spending so much time arguing over if he was or was not the son of god (litte g on purpose), and pay attention to what he had to say.
The Jewish people have gotten quite a bit of mileage out of their holocaust (little h on purpose), as if it were the ONLY holocaust. While mention of their holocaust is a conversation stopper, black folks get eye-rolls when we mention the middle passage or a few hundred years of slavery, Jim Crow, lynchings, and second class citizen treatment. And of course we are told to "get over it". Reparations? Excuses. Reparations for Jewish holocaust victims? Slavic holocaust victims? Soviet POW's? Romani? Homosexuals? Political activists? You get the picture. I find it particularly troubling that these other groups are routinely omitted from their 6 million total. Can anybody give me their total dead without running to wikipedia? Probably not. If the number 6 million is completely correct, then I don't see a problem with anyone going back to examine the evidence. If 600 Jews were targeted for killing, it's still as egregious. I hear snickers when someone gives the numbers of Palestians killed in that fishbowl called Gaza, even when we were witnessing live photos. Nobody bats an eye about the genocide occurring in Darfur, that occurred in Kosovo, Rwanda. Anyone know how many children are sold into slavery every year? So, why would I care more about the Jewish holocaust and how much money they are going to recover from Swiss banks when this other stuff is happening NOW, while their descendants are committing wholesale genocide?
Doc, all those other folks share in common the fact that they're not viable contenders on the field of global memetic competition.
Hell, memetic gamesmanship is at the foundation of EVERY cultural formation, good, bad, and otherwise.
That said, peddling powerful memes to the cognitively weak is a dangerous business with regrettable unintended consequences.
Did Obama really study law?
Because if he did, how can he say that Buchenwald "proves" the Holocaust anymore than the WTC site "proves" the Feds' version of 911?
And if he's so concerned about alleged genocides, then why doesn't he make similar speeches in Russia for Commy casualties, the US for the Natives extinction, Gaza for Palestinian deaths, etc?
Obviously because none of those folks made substantive contributions to his campaign coffers...,
You won't see any of them in his cabinet or on his campaign staff either.
Why should you?
oops, meant to say "white house staff" - but campaign staff applied equally well.
Cnu,
Yeah, I agree with you. The only thing that really bothers me is that nobody is able to debate anything about that time without being labeled a holocaust "denier", racist, or the ubiquitous anti-semite. Would the genocide have been any less depraved had only 4 million or 1 million Jewish people killed? No. For me at least, I feel just as sick when one person is killed for who he/she is. However, saying that it never happened or wasn't as lethal brings the crazy Nazi types out of the woodwork. Somethings just can't be argued in public I suppose or away from serious scholarship.
But let's be real for a moment. You know I'm not one to latch on to conspiracy theories. Why is it our President's need kiss the ass of this particular constituency? It goes back to what I mention in the above paragraph. We live in a shallow thinking sound-bite world.
If you were to consider the cast of wizards comprising every key aspect of the Manhattan Project, would it be safe to say that jewish scientists were significantly overrepresented?
I believe that a tangible, contractual, and perennial "special relationship" was forged out of the work and secrecy involved with the crucial role that these scientists played in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the only proven weapon of mass destruction in the world, and, the ultimate instrumentality of absolute governance.
Simply stated, these cats cut a deal, the type of deal that ONLY technical key personnel can cut with power-holders for themselves and for their people.
How otherwise do we account for Israel's membership in the nuclear club, the temporary membership it bestowed on Afrikaners, and the special and exclusive focus it maintains on preventing Iran from joining?
The history of nuclear power and nuclear weapons is the history and outline of elite rule and elite control for the past 70-odd years.
Everything else, is truly and genuinely just conversation in that rarified sphere.
"First off, CNu not a friend to ANY of your little stankazzed flying monkeys DV." CNulan
Aight. Then fuck you nerd. Your polysyllabic player hatin' ass is getting rude and tiresome anyway. An angry male cheerleader for a mass abortionist can kiss my flying-monkey ass.

Exactly.
But still not as remarkably insightful as your first point on this topic D:
Should It Be OK For Americans To Deny Jesus?
" I would suspect that the government had been overthrown and we are now living in an Evangelical/Fundamentalist Theocratic nightmare."
1) The significance of ... Holocaust Hegemony ... is that on some level ... everyone knows the 6 Million / Gas Chamber story is not true. Participation in the charade requires faith.
2) Faith is cool. Until it is required by the government. (Revisit the line in Obama's script where he states people who question the Holocaust will be confronted)
3) Obama was forced to state his Holocaust Catachism at Buchenwald on international TV for a reason. He is the face of emerging World Governance.
4) Faith mandated by a government is - "an Evangelical/Fundamentalist Theocratic nightmare."
5) Faith mandated by an increasingly global government that tortures and detains citizens indefinately, is - a Luciferian Theocratic nightmare.
What amuses me D, is all these supposedly smart 'well -educated' muhfuggas bending over backwards to rationalize and reduce the Zionist version of Global Fundamentalist Theocracy with snide dismissive remarks while reserving their contempt and disdain for local 'bibtards' who resist industrialized abortion and black men concerned about anything other than 'bwak on bwak cwime".
Aight. Then fuck you nerd.
rotflmbao...,
now, now, is that any kind of way to talk to the rat who figured out the totality of your little maze?
"figured out".
LOL. Sheeiiiiiiit.
You in school too Negro.
You think your little outbursts of feigned contempt are foolin' anybody?
Take notes. Everything is testable.
The only thing I've "figured out" in my time here is what L. Ron Hubbard probably felt when he decided to create Dianetics/Scientology: A profound contempt for people's capacity to believe anything.
So unless Denmark is revealed to be a conceptual prankster on the order of Andy Kaufman... or a social satirist of surpassing subtlety... I shall make better use of my online hours.
Later, bitches.

Your comment at 8:24 finally explained to me exactly where you stand on this issue and what your purpose is. I may disagree with some of your methods, but I do agree with your main point.
