LA,
You've definitely been to Cairo if you have warm memories of the smog and the insane taxis. LOL!! They are indeed part of the charm.
To everyone,
The city was buzzing over the Messiah's speech yesterday. Man, people here are in love with the guy.

Well done II. Safe travels to you and yours.

I am surprised you are showing a pic of yourself II, but what a wonderful thing to show your baby the pyramids! In the recesses of her mind, she will always have those memories!
Ah Mahndisa, DV made that choice for me. :-)
I am mad that I'm not getting the emails.
DV are you in Cairo too?
Hey L.
Nah. Not Cairo.
Martha's Vineyard.

Wow DV. U sound like you living a fly mu' fuckin' life.
II, is doing her thang in Cairo. I haven't been in a minute. I kinda' miss the smog and the hyper taxies. Be safe.

Insurgent, how did the little one manage on such a long flight?
I am weary on taking mine on a flight longer than about an hour.
Was it hell?
Big Wayne,
Not bad at all. We broke it up into three separate legs. We stopped in NY to see my in-laws for two days, then went to Zurich to see some friends for three days and then headed to Cairo. It gave the little one a chance to start adjusting to the time difference, although three weeks later, she still won't sleep before midnight.
worked pretty well for the most part.
We did east coast trips last year though. Red-eyes are the absolutely best because she's on your lap and sleeps the whole way.
she's adorable. that's an awesome pic.
