Had to get the referees to cheat for him in order to win the game. What a shame.

Karl got outcoached by the Zen Master--putting KB on Chauncey.

Melo and KB virtually neutralized one another, but KB dominated in crunch time.

If Denver gets out-rebounded by "no-inside game LA" in game 2, they'll be in deep do-do for this series, which I thought they would win handily.

Message to Denver: practice your free-throws; Carter was a LA's greatest asset down the stretch; Smith and Jones need to step up.

They haven't won in Staples since 07, so that streak ends, or its good-bye.

Refs are payed off & games rigged. Stern will do anything to assure Kobe Vs Lebron finals to max out ratings & profit$$$ !

Anon, that's not beyond the realm of possibility, but I still think it's Melo vs Braun Braun.

I used to think that. But I don't any longer.

THE LEBRONS WILL NOT GET PAST THE MAGIC.

I think many of you are forgetting that the Magic dominated both Lakers and Lebrons this year. They are a better all around squad, have more weapons and are equally strong on D. Remove Lebron and Dhoward from their teams and the Magic sweep. No answers for MJ of Turkey, No answers for the Freak of nature, No answers for Rashard. Lebrons have 1 mismatch. Magic have 3.

King James is an absolute monster. A one man squad. But this is not a one on one competion. There are four other cats on the floor.

Magic in 6. Lakers in 6.

Lakers in 6. Parade down Fig.

A Thousand Words? Bron's blocks on Howard deserve some kind of award.

With that said...

If Bron didn't have to work so hard they'd be much better off. The offense has way too many clearouts that will wear him down vs the likes of Orl, Denver or LA. Ilgauskus has range so the only shot is pulling Howard away from the basket to open up the lane. Van Gundy can counter by putting Battie or Gortat on him then Howard can roam.

Prince is on point about Orlando. Turkoglu & Lewis are just too big, too agile & have too much range for whoever Clev puts on them.

Melo is cutting up in the paint WAAAY more than i expected. He's exposing cats, Kobe included. NO LAKER CAN STICK HIM. Wing, post you name it. I had no idea he'd clown like this.

You LA fans might not want to hear it but Denver is a bad reach in by K-Mart away from heading home with a chance to sweep right now.

LA has stepped up their effort and focus like I thought they would but I like Orlando and Denver to advance.

The Cavs will blow Orlando out tonight. What happened during the regular season does not matter on this stage.

The loss was good for Cleveland. Evar thing was way to easy. Now they know that they can't play around with opponents.

That being said, a big three should beat two (Bron + Mo)--OBTW the Lakers have the same problem--the question is who amongst the rest of the Cavs will step up.

I still like the Cavs in 7.

Denvar will sweep the Lakers in the Rockies. Nuggets in 6, unless Melo's ankle is worse than they're saying.
