Opraha & Other Old Feminist Bitches With No Men Are Determined To Perpetuate The Misleading Narrative of "Domestic Violence"

Oprah Winfrey has a message for pop princess Rihanna, who prosecutors say was beaten to a pulp last month by boyfriend Chris Brown: "He will hit you again."

Former Manhattan sex-crimes prosecutor Linda Fairstein's warning is starker: He also could kill you.

Fairstein compared the fist-happy crooner to O.J. Simpson, who repeatedly beat his wife without consequence before she was slain in 1994.

Rihanna's reported reconciliation with Brown after her Feb. 8 pummeling sparked an outpouring of debate, controversy and motherly advice.

"Love doesn't hurt," Winfrey said on her show Friday, while announcing she will dedicate a program this week to discussing domestic violence.

"I want to do a show about it, dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world."

Speaking directly into the camera, Winfrey said, "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again."

Nothing flase about that statement "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again."

That tends to hold true regardless of whether the man/ woman is the aggressor. In fact, if a man hit me prior to marriage- I'm out, but let's say he strikes me after 10 years of a strong marriage- we can work it out. My advice to Rihanna (and/ or Chris Brown depending on the facts of this case) would be to part.

Perhaps it is true that if he hits you once, he will hit you again.

But let's be real that the point of Oprah's show and all the buzz is to sour relationships between men and women and, more specifically, to demonize men.

Imagine if they did public service announcements with men saying, "if some crazy broad throws your keys out of your car in traffic once, she'll do it again" or "if she cheated on you with your best friend once, she'll do it again".

Why isn't hust as much airtime given to the insane things women do?

Because. The point isn't to be fair or honest. It's to make men the enemy.

Newest report:

"according to reports, Rihanna started the fight by clocking Chris in the face with the heel of her stiletto shoe."

I believe the fight was started when she decided to look at a Black man cell phone.

Two things sistas need to stay away from in order to keep a relationship healthy - the web browser bookmarks and the pre-paid cell phone in the glove compartment

"Nothing flase about that statement 'If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again.'"

I think you need to modify that to: "If a person hits you once, they will hit you again."

All violence in a relationship is a reason to break off the relationship immediately. Unfortunately, violence by women against men is trivialized, and, in much of the media encouraged if only as a comedic vehicle.

Michael I said the statement in agreement with Oprah. I also included- "That tends to hold true regardless of whether the man/ woman is the aggressor" to be inclusive of both sexes.

And while violence by women against men is trivialized this is slowly changing (there simply needs to be greater advocacy amongst men and all others who care about justice/ equality).

And to your last point, the media encourages many things contrary to what is right.

II.

You simplify things by stating- "It's to make men the enemy" and "sour relationships between men and women". Honestly I put my money on it that Oprah has a genuine concern about domestic violence.

Also there is as airtime given to the insane things women do. One thing I can think of off the bat is bulimia/ eating disorders even though a large number of men suffer from this problem. In fact Oprah show mainly focuses on the insane things women do.

It's crazy how liberals will lie and claim it's "never right to hit a woman."

If she sticks a stiletto in your eye then only a masochist or a radical lesbian will claim a man doesn't have the right to knock her out.

This is especially true in a liberal society that claims we are equal.

If the liberals and radical lesbians were truly consistent then their principle would claim it's "never right to hit a man" and be lambasting Rihanna for her obvious transgression of liberal principle.

And clearly Oprah's statement is false and goes further in exposing her ideological angle. Although being hit once presents a likelihood of getting hit again, it does not follow that this is absolutely true. In fact, in this situation the lesson to be learned is that some are not so gullible as to believe a woman should never be hit especially when she strikes first and hard.

"All violence in a relationship is a reason to break off the relationship immediately."

How about when you spank your kids? See Fish... there is a difference between an ass whooping and violence. When blood is involved somewhere the act crosses the line. And when you see blood and you continue... You don't really love that person.

I agree with TD.

Obama Chic, there is no such thing as "Domestic Violence".

There is only violence.

The categorization of violence is Group Identity propaganda designed to divide and conquer.

Are there only humans? or male and females? who are humans..

Oh yeah GM!.. Let me get this right .. Categorizing math with labels like trigonometry vs. algebra is math identity prop!

Thanks Casper

I was simply going to ignore the comment by Grill Media. Yes violence is violence. Domestic violence simply refers to a type of violence involving intimates. The word domestic is being used as an adjective so the two terms are not exclusive of one another. Domestic violence exists no matter how much people may deny it.
