Harvey Levin the grubby handed Gossip for Profit at TMZ explains why he posted the image of Rihanna's supposed "beating" at the hands of Chris Brown (as if there were a reason other than money).

"I’m not a psychologist but I truly believe Rihanna is going through Stage 1 of the Battered Woman Syndrome which happens to be denial. At this stage the battered woman denies to others, and to herself that there is a problem. Most will even make up excuses for why their partners have an abusive incident and they generally believe that the abuse will never happen again."
