Mahndisa, I'm surprised that you, someone who gracefully discusses forms which are inhibitingly complex to the novitiate, would unthinkingly use the descriptive communist to refer to policy proposals explicitly designed and favored by capitalists to reaffirm their continued hegemony.

I, too, have witnessed dead fetuses without moral revulsion. Also, I had the great fortune of taking my then six year old daughter to see the Body Worlds exhibit last year in Baltimore. She approached it with great curiosity and enthusiasm without a hint of unease. A great measure of this is undoubtedly due to the anti-essentialist and anti-dogmatic outlook of her father.

Superbly written Sub, yet fundamentally flawed.

The previously referenced revulsion had nothing to do with morality or anatomical squeamishness. It had everything to do with violence.

People turn away from images of aborted fetuses for the same reason they turn away from images of bodies destroyed in car accidents.

Anecdotal experience should tell you that people are actually attracted to images of smashed up bodies. There is something so compelling about EMS on the side of the highway that it's impossible for traffic to resume flow even when the lanes are reopened. And you just contradicted yourself above by posting a vivid and arresting image.

That's interesting Sub,

I'm looking forward to visiting your home one day.

I assume you will have nice framed photos of aborted fetuses and dismembered car accident victims.

Macabre curiosity and revulsion are not mutually exclusive phenomena.

For all his bluster and "frisson of intemperateness" Sub, I'm quickly coming to suspect that the Blackest man on the Internet is in reality a fairly rigid conformist who'd be right at home working up close and personal with Tyler Perry in his negro stereotypes factory....,

lol.

I like that CNu. But actually despite the exaggerated expressions of disdain for Bibtards, lol, you and your plantation negro cousin Casper share much in common with them.

An inordinate subordination to plantation orthodoxy as long as it's fed to you as a rejection of morality and an expression of liberty.

I think the voluntary genocide of Negros racing to vacuum fetuses out of their wombs is much more stereotypical tha anything Tyler Perry could conjure up, with our without a dress.

oh, were you volunteering to be little clamydia's baby daddy?

Cause last I recall, with all your fronting and faking about the spiritual imperative of having two parents joined by God, you sure contradict yourself with today's emphatic cheerleading for R-game profligacy.

Better go take your dogs out for a good long walk and chat them up about the contradictory and illogical errors increasingly evident in their master's frivolous propaganda....,

Speaking of liberty and morality, did you go ask somebody about the brutal history and nature of seigneurial privilege yet?

oops, sycloria, not clamydia. my bad....,

Are you volunteering to murder him?

LOL. CNu. I'm beginning to see why you ducking Thordaddy.

Behind the gratuitous pleonasm and clingy appeal for solidarity from Sub, you don't make much sense. Silly actually.

I think industrialized abortion is barbaric. Mahndisa thinks it is a conspiracy to cheapen human life.

Instead of explaining why you think abortion is ... "a good" you launch into a bitter tirade about bibtards and the Inquisition.

Come on CNu,

Don't just regurgitate secular dogma rejecting the legitimacy of other people's opinions. Make your case FOR abortion.

"You value abortion for the same reason you value homosexuality. It culls the playing field and you never need get your hands dirty." Thordaddy

I disagree with Thor.

CNulan values abortion because his imaginary enemies the "Bibtards" don't.

Ridiculous group identity politics no more evolved than the bloods vs. crips.

where's my vaccuum kit?

LOL. CNu. I'm beginning to see why you ducking Thordaddy.

Cause he's even less well-informed or logically and factually coherent than you?

Behind the gratuitous pleonasm and clingy appeal for solidarity from Sub, you don't make much sense. Silly actually.

Appeal for solidarity? I wasn't aware that Sub had intimated that you'd excel at working under Tyler Perry.

I think industrialized abortion is barbaric. Mahndisa thinks it is a conspiracy to cheapen human life.

And both of you call blobs of cells "unborn children", neither one of you can articulate the basis for this claim, neither one of you can make even the magical thinking case for "ensoulment", and both of you have been shown as irresponsible, irrational, impractical, and hypocritical narcissists conflating superstition with morality.

Instead of explaining why you think abortion is ... "a good" you launch into a bitter tirade about bibtards and the Inquisition.

The safe, clinical elimination of unwanted pregnancy is an undisputed good. Good for the woman exercising choice, good for the unwanted and non-sentient pre-human who doesn't know any better one way or another - the functional equivalent of a polyp being removed.

CNulan values abortion because his imaginary enemies the "Bibtards" don't.

I value abortion because I believe the value and the prerogatives of the woman on whom a pregnancy depends take precedent to all other considerations.

Ridiculous group identity politics no more evolved than the bloods vs. crips.

Why don't you ask your mutt Josh to explain seigneurial privilege to you DV. Between the two of you, perhaps you can figure it out to the extent that you understand exactly how the right to abortion is vastly more evolved than any competing and unjustified claim against it.

Whoa:
Submariner, I didn't see your response before as I like to answer statements or questions directed to me. With that in mind, let me respond. Well, you are right that the capitalists at the top who are frauds have no regard for human life, just as the pro choicers seem to have no regard for human life either. I use the communist term because under that doctrine, people seem to owned by the state and the state dictates what is right or wrong without appeal to ones religiious or moral convictions.

In the case of abortion, which I deem state sponsored infanticide, there is certainly a communist bent to the policies that allow it to happen on an elective basis.

And you are right, if I am to be intellectually honest, I need to condemn the asshole businesspeople who care more about their bottom line than they do human lives. This is true and you are right in that sense.

So I will be clear. I don't think that the state should have ownership of human life in this way. I don't think the state has a right to rationalize one form of murder while condeming other forms.

And you said you saw dead fetuses without moral revulsion. Wow! You must have a heart of steel, cuz when I see dead fetuses I immediately start crying. And it doesn't matter how the baby died, whether via abortion, miscarriage or whatever else. Dead babies sadden me.

I will do everything in my power to protect my baby son, as you do everything in your power to protect your six year old:)
