Brother, brother, brother There's far too many of you dying, You know we've got to find a way, To bring some lovin' here today

Back in those days, cats knew that we were all in that boat together - and consequently - we knew better how to work together and be supportive of one another.

Inevitably, there were busters in the mix. At no time have we ever been completely free of exploiters, parasites, and self-hating quislings - but nowadays - that latter element has become normative.

Simple singletons, entirely dependent on the relational largess of others for their daily bread - and frankly incapable of doing much of anything tangibly valuable to support their subsistence on their own. (a Guatamalan peasant has exponentially greater survival prospects than your typical bourgie crab)

These fools have no concept of their own objective helplessness and the uncertain terror of their situation. Sadly, they will each soon learn the error of their ways, and the only consolation I can offer them is that they won't have very long to dwell on their regrets.
