Nowhere sir have I suggested that Obama is the anti-Christ. Rather, I have stated, re-stated, and in my occassionally humble opinion, strongly made the case, that Obama gives every appearance of being as gifted a federal operations manager as there has ever been.
I am frankly relieved that he is my president and he certainly received my enthusiastic vote. Further, I believe that Obama has the full faith and backing of the Brookings Institute establishment - making him as strongly mandated as it's possible for a popularly elected U.S. president to be.
That said, I believe Obama has entered the global political Casino Royale not only to gamble with the tapped-out contents of the treasury, I believe that he is also tapping into our shared identity space and leveraging Black moral and social capital as part of his gambit - in ways that I may not necessarily approve. I believe that it is his facile use of the shared identity space which has garnered him unprecedented props not only from yourself, but also from the overwhelming majority of Black folks.
The cadre responsible for producing this presidency are second-guessing Black folks on a scale and to an extent that has never been attempted before - and some of us aren't carefully examining that aspect of the thing. Hold off anointing him a Son of God until his performance establishes beyond a doubt that he is a fully effective exemplar.
