Your take on the hypocrisy of bloomberg is affirmed by me. take for example his handling of two NYC pArks dept employees who were fired for involving themselves in a nazi skit.in sept 2008 on staten island, ny. Now compare this to bloomberg's and kelly's response to the outrage of Harlem communitiy members had when two white cops in unmarked partol cars were caught by Harlemites rolling thru the hood with a Black doll's head on their patrol car's antenna. So far nary a word the scumbags status.
Still not down with the stupidity of Plexico, though. His actions were Inexcusable.
Prison awaits - If Madoff can't secure two more co-signers for his $10 million bail by 2 p.m. today, he heads back to federal court and could land in jail. When he was released Thursday, co-signers included his wife, Ruth, and brother Peter. Prosecutors let him go on the promise he'd find additional co-signers.

New York Giants star receiver Plaxico Burress is facing a MANDATORY 3½ years in prison. His crime? Not having a license, which New York City never would have issued him,because New York state permits to possess or carry handguns are not issued to nonresidents, Mr. Burress could not apply for a New York City permit.
Funny I don't see or hear anyone not even Al Sharpton indicate that this incident or this law only applies to only black men or black men who play football.
Fact is though that:
"Last year, over 300 New Yorkers, many of them children, were killed with illegal guns," said City Council Speaker Christine Quinn. "We won't stand by any longer."

Harlem community leaders are calling for the heads of two cops who pulled up to a neighborhood restaurant with the head of a black baby doll attached to their unmarked car's antenna.
"This is unacceptable," said state Sen. Bill Perkins (D-Harlem), who was at the restaurant during Tuesday's incident. "There should be an investigation, and the termination or suspension of the officers involved."
The white officers, including a lieutenant, denied that they attached the head to the car.
They said someone else must have done it while they were attending a nearby basketball tournament.
They said they were unaware of it when they arrived at the opening of Gran Piatto d'Oro on Fifth Ave. near 117th St. and Clarence Jones, 28, tried to take a picture of the head.
The cops then pulled it off and tossed it in the trunk.
"To me, it's like psychological terrorism," said Jones' brother Tyrill Hart, 35.
Cops said there was no evidence that the cops attached the head.
They are examining surveillance tape from the basketball game.
Perkins will host a protest Thursday at 4 p.m. in Marcus Garvey Park.

Five days after complaining that the head of a black doll was attached to an unmarked cop car's antenna, a Harlem man was busted on unrelated charges Sunday.
Clarence Jones was booked on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges after a confrontation when a cop wrote a summons against the SUV he had parked in a bus stop at 1:25 a.m., officials said.
Jones' supporters called the bust retaliatory for the earlier complaint.
"It smells fishy," said state Sen. Bill Perkins (D-Harlem).
Cops denied any connection.
"The arresting officer, who is Asian, did not know Jones," Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said in a statement.
Jones, 27, was busted after ignoring an order from the cop who was issuing a ticket against his 2003 Lincoln Navigator, which was parked in a bus lane at 116th St. and Madison Ave., officials said.
Jones - who police sources said was also busted in February for possessing marijuana - got in and drove for a block to Fifth Ave. After parking, Jones tussled with the cops as they arrested him, NYPD officials said.
Jones said he was beaten by cops, and he brandished a bloody shirt he claimed was proof of his injuries.
"They broke my tooth in half," said Jones, who was arraigned last night and freed without bail. "My collarbone, I can't breathe without it hurting."
Police officials said Jones refused medical attention and demanded to talk with Internal Affairs Bureau cops about his claims of retaliation. Things got even worse when Jones' mom got into a scuffle with cops on the street.
"All I wanted to do was see my son," said Kimberly Pressley, 48, who was issued a summons and released.

Blacks kill off each other many, many more times each year then the entire 40,000 plus members of the NYPD. No, I'm not doing PR for the NYPD, just stating the facts. For example, in 1999, 667 people were murdered in New York City. Guess what? Of that number 356 were Black. I'm no Albert Einstein but that meant that of more than half of all the murders that took place in New York City THE VICTIMS were Black. These are not people killed by white cops of the NYPD but by Blacks themselves.
Does indifference to this statistic mean that it's all right when Blacks kill Blacks, but not so when a white cop kills a Black person, right or wrong? Is there a difference between Black-on-Black murder and white cop-on-Black murder? Should we not be more outraged when a Black man kills a Black man or woman for a $5 bag of crack or a Black youth stabs another Black youth to death for a Nike $120 pair of sneakers? Or "dissing" his girlfriend?
So back to the point.. This made up outrage that DV displays is some old school Jessie Jackson nonsense. Plaxico is a celeb and knows he would be on blast for his actions if caught. Plaxico admitted to knowing the handgun law before he left his house strapped. He should not be treated any different just because he is black and plays for the Giants. First, I recall in NYC when the murder rate was well upwards to 2,000 per year durning the crack era. So the numbers you quote today are actually relief. and imporovement in fact.
Second,here's the stop and frisk data from the NYT
"Street stops have gradually increased, to 508,540 in 2006 from 97,296 in 2002, according to departmental statistics. Because more than half of those stopped were black, the increases led some police critics to suggest that minorities were being unfairly singled out, though the police reject such claims." Why so many stops & frisks? Perhaps to fill "the bends" for the ready human product to go upstate to supply the prison industrial complex and job programs for upstate rural residents. Strange though, the S& F have been basically harassment when one considers that because how far the crime rate in our communities have dropped so far. There are now many open prison beds with some institituions half=filled and on the block for closing. But quess who's against this move? I digressed but I hope you can get my point?
