What do you mean by race-climb? Should I be offended or flattered, as a Black woman? If you are implying by "race-climb" that he is in some way achieving a greater standard by being with a White Woman, then yes I am offended. On the flip-side, if you mean that he is going to a lower standard, by being with a white woman - I am still offended, even if you meant it to be some sort of flattery.

I grew up with White people, such as yourself. You study and read almost anything that you can pick up that you think will help you articulate your racism and you call it "TRUTH". Is there really any truth in degrading another race? Whether Black-White, whatever?? You hide behind your keyboard and make disparaging remarks, but if in a social environment of diverse backgrounds, you tend to be much more subdued. You my friend are a BONAFIDE COWARD!!

I asked because race-climbing does create caste systems in heavily-mixed societies like Brazil & India. Where the more status a man gains, the lighter a woman he often chooses. So, was just academically wondering if Black women might be concerned about falling to the bottom of the hierarchal heap in that "Hitlerian" scenario? No sweat off my sack, though. :)

One must buy into that "Hitlerian" mindset in order to have any type of feelings about a blackman's marital choice.
You wish with all your being that you can find a way to make black people feel less than other races..... it backfires all the time, and you wonder why.
Black women are strong, we know that there are some who have fallen prey to the long and systematic attempts of the whiteman to drive us into a cocoon of self hate and lack of belief in ouselves and what we stand for.

^ Not true. Less than half of Black men have ever married now. Comparatively, Blacks now have the lowest rate of marriage of any ethnic group in the U.S.
