Barack Obama is a spiritual phenomenon. What we witnessed last night transcends presidential politics / entertainment.
CNN had a real time “meter” of undecided Ohio voters that showed their approval response while each candidate was speaking.
At one point my man BHO paused, looked into the camera and dead into the eyes of 200 million Americans. For 3 uninterrupted minutes he spoke from the soul.
The Chick Approval Meter damn near bust threw the screen and off the charts.
This race is not about issues. It’s a contest of who can be felt the most. Who can touch the most people. Who can be the most human.
Black people are good at that. Real good. Barack is leveraging his blackness.
Funny thing is, after it’s all said and done, Obama is going to win the Presidency … BECAUSE he’s black.
Not despite it.
He’s bringing a realness to the table with which McCain can neither fathom nor compete. It threatens those who see it, don’t understand it, but still want it. Obama is Hip Hop.
