Fighters from the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta used dynamite to destroy an oil flow station at Alakiri in the petrol-rich southeastern Rivers state."Heavily armed fighters... stormed the facility and have razed it to the ground as promised," said the group's spokesman, Jomo Gbomo. "The foolhardy workers and soldiers who did not heed our warning perished inside the station."
