Man please... he's the donkey in the monumental Shrek series. He's been a hit and miss guy for at least a decade. Fallen off is a lil extreme.
Common has a slick line about emcees needing to do more deletin' and less savin'. Eddie may need to pass a few more times than he does.

My theory on Eddie is that he does one good movie, one bad movie, then another good movie. Eddie is very connected in Hollywood and knows how to kiss the right asses (probably literally), but he's also extremely talented.
If you think Shrek is BS from a box office & relevance standpoint, thats where we part.

Eddie makes kid movies...at this point in his career. And he makes about 20M per film to do so.
You have kids. Did they not want see ANY of the Shrek or Nutty Prof movies? Or did you refuse to take them because you didn't want to expose your kids to the GSWS?
Sometimes, you just go into the theatre, turn off your brain, and laugh at the corniness.
