It also forged close ties to a parallel, ad hoc intelligence operation inside Ariel Sharon's office in Israel specifically to bypass Mossad and provide the Bush administration with more alarmist reports on Saddam's Iraq than Mossad was prepared to authorise.
"None of the Israelis who came were cleared into the Pentagon through normal channels," said one source familiar with the visits. Instead, they were waved in on Mr Feith's authority without having to fill in the usual forms.

As the CIA director, George Tenet, arrived at the Senate yesterday to give secret testimony on the Niger uranium affair, it was becoming increasingly clear in Washington that the scandal was only a small, well-documented symptom of a complete breakdown in US intelligence that helped steer America into war.
This time the implications are far more damaging for the White House, which stands accused of politicising and contaminating its own source of intelligence.
According to former Bush officials, all defence and intelligence sources, senior administration figures created a shadow agency of Pentagon analysts staffed mainly by ideological amateurs to compete with the CIA and its military counterpart, the Defence Intelligence Agency.
The ideologically driven network functioned like a shadow government, much of it off the official payroll and beyond congressional oversight. But it proved powerful enough to prevail in a struggle with the State Department and the CIA by establishing a justification for war.
"Most of the people they had in that office were off the books, on personal services contracts. At one time, there were over 100 of them," said an intelligence source. The contracts allow a department to hire individuals, without specifying a job description.
As John Pike, a defence analyst at the thinktank GlobalSecurity.org, put it, the contracts "are basically a way they could pack the room with their little friends".
"They surveyed data and picked out what they liked," said Gregory Thielmann, a senior official in the state department's intelligence bureau until his retirement in September. "The whole thing was bizarre. The secretary of defence had this huge defence intelligence agency, and he went around it."

It's really not hard to see, unless you've chosen to blind yourself with their racist propaganda. In fact, you'd have to be a pro-Jew racist to willfully ignore the obvious pattern here.
People can go on about vague abstract constructs ad nauseum without naming names, but when you get down to the nitty gritty specifics, what you keep seeing are 6-pointed stars. I don't care if you are a Black Muslim, White powerist, President of Iran, Jewish Holocaust researcher, David Icke fan, non-American, politically-incorrect scholar or Joe Average. Many of these disparate groups have all independently come to the very same conclusion. Because it simply is what it is.
Meanwhile, the Jewish media is working overtime to simultaneously discredit all such truths as "anti-Semitism" or ridicule them on talk shows as "looney talk."
But controlling our money supply, plunging us into the next Depression and dragging us into war are NO laughing matters! These manipulative suits are the real terrorists!

Is labeling the group of people actually responsible for the manufacture of this war ... "Jews" ... an accurate label?
Wouldn't that be like labeling Italian mobsters responsible for the NY rackets ... "Catholics" ... instead of simply the mob?
Doesn't that play into the racketeers hands, by allowing him to take refuge behind a religion he doesn't even practice?
Even among the relatively erudite people on this blog - many have difficulty distinguishing the difference between criticism of a person who happens to be Jewish - and criticism of all Jews.
It's a Pavlovian phenomena where people have been conditioned to think "hate" and "anti-Semitism" anytime a non-Jew mentions Jews or Israel.
Imagine if the Pentagon was overrun with Chinese lobbyists and a year later the US invaded Taiwan.
5 years of war later, anyone who even mentions Chinese lobbyists is labeled "Anti-Chinese".
