Benjamin Netanyahu "911 Terror Attacks Good For Israel"

By Haaretz Service and Reuters

The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.

"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."

Let's see how long the mainstream media will report this story. Or if it would ever see the light to be reported on.

And what is incorrect about that statement?

That's actually a good question Mike.

Which begs a series of others.

Like ... motive?

Mike, have you heard of Ogio and the mysterious instant messages sent hours before the attack?

Yeah, but I think the company's name was Odingo.

Like "motive" in what context, DV?

The attack was also a good thing for Al Qaida 'cause it drew US troops into their territory and made them more popular among the Arabs. Plus it removed Saddam for them.

So who knows...

I think you're too preoccupied with that Israeli-Palestinian thing. While I certainly don't approve of what's going on there, there are more urgent things to consider.

Like the fact that some 3.5 - 4 million Africans have been wiped out in the Congo in the last few years. That's just about the equivalent of the entire West Bank and Gaza Strip Palestinian population and then some.

Unless you think that an Arab life is worth more than a African life (that would be a ratio in this case of what? 400 Africans to 1 Palestinian or thereabouts?), why don't you do concentrate your expose on the conspiracies that are taking black lives all over the globe?

I don't see the Palestinians (or the Lebanese for that matter) using their not inconsiderable political clout to rush to the aid of these Africans.

Nah Mike.

It was Odigo. Most underreported story about the 911 attacks.

From Ha'aretz -

Odigo Says Workers Were Warned
Of 911 Attack 2 Hours Before
By Yuval Dror
Ha'aretz Daily - Israel
1-12-1

Odigo, the instant messaging service, says that two of its workers received messages two hours before the Twin Towers attack on September 11 predicting the attack would happen, and the company has been cooperating with Israeli and American law enforcement, including the FBI, in trying to find the original sender of the message predicting the attack.

Mike, that certainly is the mainstream conventional wisdom. Particularly if you buy into the notion that a huge centralized terrorist organization called "Al Qaeda" even exists.

I find the notion laughably too similar to Get Smart's "Kaos" or James Bonds "SPECTRE". A bit too convenient.

No. "Al Qaeda" is simply an umbrella term used by this regime to describe all Arab / Muslim resistance to it's efforts to instigate a global religious war between the west and Islam.

If an Arab boy throws a rock at an Israeli tank - he's Al Qaeda. If a Muslim in Somalia fires a shot at the invading puppet Ethiopian army - he's Al Qaeda.

In 5 years, young black American men caught with handguns will be jailed as "enemy combatants" and possibly "Al Qaeda".

"Al Qaeda" is a term used by the police state to pacify intellectually lazy Americans who can't understand anything unless they have a boogeyman.

Nah Mike.

Like most people, you misunderstand my emphasis on the inherent injustice of the Palestinian crisis and it's ultimate implications on the lives of your children and mine.

I'm not keeping some kind of racial scoreboard or maintaining an inventory of the number of African deaths vs. Arab deaths. That kind of racial "who's the greater victim" contest is a played out tactic that doesn't work. A lame hustle.

The Israeli Palestinian conflict is at the root of our nations fiasco in the middle east.

The American taxpayers have been duped into financing the occupation and Holocaust of those people. Which in turn has generated worldwide hatred of America and led to perpetual war that will destroy this nation's economy.

America has been reduced to a big dumb bodyguard and sugar daddy for the state of Israel.

Focusing on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the "Save Darfur" bullshit propaganda distraction is a technique to illustrate the tactics of those that have hijacked this great nation.

Once you understand those - what is happening in the Congo, and how to rectify it becomes a cakewalk.

"Once you understand those - what is happening in the Congo, and how to rectify it becomes a cakewalk."

And how would one rectify what is happening in the Congo?

Michael Fisher said...

DV. Question.

Since you are just as much "white" as you are "black", why is it that you say that you are a black person? Why don't you say that you are a white person?

I'd be SHOCKED if Israel wasn't behind 9-11.
