Obama Defeats Clinton in 3-State Sweep

Senator Barack Obama won powerful victories over Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in Washington, Louisiana and Nebraska, giving him a Saturday sweep going into a month when the Democratic nominating contests are expected to favor him.

The successes come just as Mr. Obama is enjoying a strong advantage over Mrs. Clinton in raising money. Still, the results were expected to do little to settle the muddle in the delegate race that resulted after the wave of contests last Tuesday in which the two candidates split up states from coast to coast.

In Republican contests on Saturday, Mike Huckabee won in Kansas, an embarrassing setback to Senator John McCain as he tries to rally the party around him as the nominee.

While Mr. Obama had been expected to win the contests on Saturday, the margin of victories were surprising, particularly in Washington, a predominately white state where he captured 57 percent of the vote in caucus voting compared to Mrs. Clinton’s 31 percent. And in Nebraska, which also held caucuses, he received an impressive 68 percent of the vote to Mrs. Clinton’s 32 percent.

“Today, voters from the West Coast, the Gulf Coast and the heart of America are joining the chorus of Americans who are choosing change over more of the same failed politics in Washington. They see in Barack Obama the best chance to beat John McCain in the fall, unite our country, take on the special interests, and confront the challenges facing working families,” said Obama campaign manager David Plouffe.

Like most phony hypocrites Obama manages his impression or the marketing of himself very well.

He is a big supporter of Israel. Supports the building of the fence and endorses the largest concentration camp in the world. Gaza.

Obama is a lap dog for special interest groups and Globalism.

Globalism destroys the American resource base and also turns America into a third world country with an idiotic sort of economy... based on plunder for the rest of the world and money values instead of human values.

Obama will be a disaster if elected.
Of all the bad choices currently.. Hillary is the most crooked and most likely to work in the best interest of the American people.

That is as good as it gets in a Price System. Hello suckers.

The media's persistent attempts to niggerize Obama make me giggle. Louisiana and South Carolina are the exceptions which prove the rule: Obama gets greater support among blacks than whites. His lopsided victories and greater number of states won where black support is irrelevant to the outcome are elided.

The real test for Hillary is this Tuesday in Virginia. Despite her campaign placing its hopes on Texas the truth is that it's not a contestable state in a general election. So while Texas Democrats can help Clinton win the nomination they are not an asset in the general election. Virginia, in contrast, is a red state that can go blue if Obama is the nominee. If Clinton can't win there then even if by some stretch she gains the nomination she'll lose in a way that hasn't been seen since Dukakis in 1988.

I don't think so. The pitbull known as Hillary.. in a dog fight.. would I think make McCain wish he was somewhere else.

I think she will tear him to shreds.

She would clobber McCain.

After all... she is more conservative.

She would clobber McCain.

If that is so then she will win VA this Tuesday.

Obama has become that cool Black kid in the suburban high school. You know, from a good two-parent home, athlete plus honor student that the white parents secretly wish were their daughters' boyfriend or sons' best friend. That they OPENLY give 'permission' to make these things happen.

My mom thinks he's being set up though. We'll see.

I can dig it, but it just seems to confirm that black people have a self-reinforcing need to be objectified as victims. We're always the puppets and never the puppeteers. Even if one of us is ahead it's because a white man in power permitted it. The same convoluted logic is used to dismiss the nationalist drives of the Third World in the last century. This theory posits that colored peoples rebelled because of thoughts inserted by Soviets or colonial powers thought they had reached political maturity or became merely disinterested in continuing their dominance. It denies blacks and browns of the capacity for self-determination and victory through sustained effort against unfavorable conditions.

Obama will certainly sweep tomorrow. Despite the naysayers and the pundits the brother has won. He may go on to lose to McCain in the general election. He may be an ineffective president in the mold of Jimmy Carter. But no matter what the outcome he carried his fate in his own hands. That is what this whole thing is about.

I like your points Sub.

Your right. Obama has dropped the prior bullshit. He deserves credit for that.

I think the powers that be are going to put in Hillary though... also because like or not she is damn smart.

You have to remember Sub that this whole thing is fake. It is the special interest groups that run our country now for Globalism.

I do think she is more savage than Obama and would do better than Obama in the coming crises (collapse of our debt structure and the ending of our system as we know it).

It could be that Obama may tag along as the V.P.-

I won't be voting. The only vote I will make is a referendum vote to get out of the present system... our Price System.

Either of these two are going to be transition figures.

There is no way in Hell that McCain is going to win an election against either. Either would kick his ass.

Even the born again retards now hate the republicans more than the democrats.
