Barack Takes Political High Road Regarding Cuba - To The Dismay Of Old Cuban Geezers Who Need To Let It Go

Earlier this week, Barak Obama wrote an opinion piece in the the Miami Herald announcing his plans to normalize relations with Cuba.

Accordingly, I will grant Cuban Americans unrestricted rights to visit family and send remittances to the island...

Accordingly, I will use aggressive and principled diplomacy (talk) to send an important message: If a post-Fidel government begins opening Cuba to democratic change, the United States (the president working with Congress) is prepared to take steps to normalize relations and ease the embargo that has governed relations between our countries for the last five decades.

The Cuban-Americans didn't appreciate that and let him know it today.

Fuck 'em. I will say this to any PoS Gusano who constantly whines about lifting the embargo against Cuba. These people are four generations from those who supported a corrupt dictator who in turn oversaw a racist Jim Crow-like system. Castro has political prisoners and they should be free. But the U.S. has them political prisoners too and if you match the charges of the Cuban state aimed at their prisoners to our prisoners in Gitmo, they are strangely similar. If he can be TALKED to I'm sure he'll let those people go, if WE and a whole host of other countries release their political prisoners. That's right, e's wrong for having PPs, but he's not the only one.
So fuck the Gusanos of Miami! They want another right-wing PoS leadership that seeks to sell out their country's resources to the highest bidder (usually the U.S.), so that a handful can be rich. They'll be another Haiti and Dominican Republic; another Carribean Island that bows to the U.S. within a year if those asshole get their way.

Obama has big balls to challenge these "conventional wisdoms." These Miami Cubans make me wanna puke sometimes. The chicks are hot though. :-)
