Black fear of advancement. Black people cannot accept that it may be possible or even thinkable (don't think that is a word) that a Black Man may be President. Black people are so caught up in the slave mental that "massa musa sava us" they don't know how to break it. I am truly an advocate for Ron Paul, and it is not about race, but about what I believe is a tremendous effort to turn this county around. He will not make it. Americans tend to hate the truth. So, now I am focused on Barack, if not for the issues, but because it shows my little (5yrs. old) Black King to truly aspire for what he wants! Instead of these plantation negros that get the media attention, I would love for a Black Man, that represented Black people, to have a chance. I do not agree with all of Barack's stance of the issues, for this I would defintely vote (Ron Paul, he has the "people"in mind), but Barack does "play" to the Black audience, he would make history, and he would inspire alot of young Black Kings. I digress, alot of the so called "black leaders" that endorse the clintons are just sitting on their "hand-me-down" jobs" and want to keep their so-called position of "power".

Although I'm officially an Obama supporter, I talked to my fiance about my deep interest in Ron Paul. Ron offers a different [read: refreshing] level of truth about real issues (e.g. abolishing the Federal Reserve) that I don't ever remember.

My fiance almost blew a gasket. He even crossed the line and sorta-almost pulled a "you're a white girl" on me.

In many cases, I think Ron Paul won't win because people are afraid of wasting a vote. Anonymous is another (growing) example that Paul would have a much larger vote if he was more widely perceived as "electable" and able to carry a larger vote. (Kinda ironic and evidence of the flawed human condition. I won't give him a vote because I don't see enough other votes for him. Backwards, but difficult to escape.)

Hawa,

That's a wonderful post and you make a great point.

In this era of Patriot Acts and collapsing dollars voting for anyone other than Ron Paul is like voting for The Matrix.

I have yet to meet an Obama or Hillary supporter who can articulate a single policy difference between them.

Yeah yeah there are some technicalities about health care and HOW we will be taxed. Other than that they are political twins.

Ron Paul cannot win only because conformist Americans have been told he cannot win. Repeatedly.

Ron Paul throws open the gate to the caged Rhesus monkeys, and they stay in the cage.

Income Tax - Abolished
700 Foreign Bases - Abolished
Trillion Dollar War - Ended
Federal Drug Laws - Abolished

Anyone not supporting Ron Paul, or not bothering to understand his platform - wants to be a slave. It's their comfort zone.

But. Here's the problem.

Obama is the real deal. God is obviously on his side. There is a truth that echoes in his speech. There's a familiar wisdom. There's a calm.

The world needs a brotha calling the shots.

It's like, if Barack Obama is wrong, many people don't want to be right.

Perfect Paradox.
