It depends on who is telling the story.

Does 'Gangsta Rap' condition young men to be thugs, or does it allow them to not be "embarrased" by their goon like tendencies?

Seems some people want it both ways.

You are far too shrewd a cat to pretend mass media does not modify the behavior of the masses. Of course it does.

A TV show, targeting children, which presents the star of the show, the CENTER OF ATTENTION, as a bisexual girl, the OBJECT OF DESIRE, of both men and women is cheese in a mouse trap designed to ensare young impressionable people starved for love, affection and attention.

Suggesting they can find what they want by "being bisexual" is no mere coincidence of television. It is social engineering, pure propaganda designed to plant the seeds of sexual dysfunction in millions of American kids.

Maybe it's time we see religion for what it is: a chronicle of the social evolution of mankind, to be understood in the cultural context of it's time. Maminodes said the face of god never changes; but the reflection in the mirror changes. Or something to that effect.

Maybe it's time we stop being xenophobic and recognize that gay/bi/lesbi/trans are today what black people, jews, catholics and other races have been since the birth of our country: just another damned scapegoat; but hey! if someone can capitalize off it, they surely will. It's the great American way, after all.
