Dont remember the points, but John Edwards was allegedly my candidate.

I was uncomfortable answering the questions because they made the issues (to a large degree) black or white, when IMO they are not. Take Social security for example. The choice was to privatize or not. How about stop giving it away like its donated cheese irrespective of the recipient's contributions??!!

And re: schools, the choices were basically about the success (or lack thereof) of No Child Left Behind. Well, IMO a real solutions considers both the governmental and social causes of poor educational performance.

DV, maybe you should run b/c I clearly need a candidate who has the guts to say that things in America often arent "either - or." Every issue has gray area not captured or discussed in a 2 party system (or what might as well be a two party system).

Hell, maybe I should run. :-)

RJEsq,

What do you believe the role of government should be? Perhaps if you use that starting point for answering each question, you might find a consistency.

For example, the No Child Left Behind Act is patently unconstitutional. Not only does it violate the general principle of limited government, but the 10th Amendment clearly states that those powers not expressly granted to the Fed are reserved to the States.

Education has traditionally been one of the powers "reserved" to the States.

On that basis alone, the Act should be repealed.

HillBill won with 17, then Chris Dodd and my man Obama was a 14. I echo RJEsq though in that the choices were really braod and for me there was some overlap.

Hillary, Damien?

Damn. I wouldn't have guessed that. You strike me more as an Edwards / Kucinich cat.
