For most celebrities, the uproar is only temporary, and not career-ending.
As nude photos go, the "High School Musical" star's photo circulating the Internet is pretty tame, but that hasn't stopped the nuclear publicity fallout. Like all the stars of Disney's billion-dollar franchise, the 18-year-old Hudgens has been held out as the anti-Britney, the chaste, sweet girl whom parents can proudly point to as a non-promiscious role model. She'd even picked up a Neutrogena endorsement to hawk blemish-free, innocent skin. After the incriminating photos hit the Web on Thursday, Hudgens had to issue a contrite mea culpa: "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos."
Disney issued its own statement: "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment." Disney is still negotiating with all the film's stars to return for a big-screen version of "High School Musical 3."

I agree. This one of those situations where everyone seems to be saying "And?"
Note how empty Disney's statement was. Evidence that there isnt much to say about this.
