"Liberating Women From Islam"

Islam, Christianity, Jewish religious brainwashing, whats the real difference ?
All, are abusively controlling.

They all were designed to control women, as a large part of their reasoning.

Christians burned women at the stake not so long ago.
Why ?
Because they thought they cast spells on people.

As if on cue ...

The secularist atheists are well versed in the failings of religion.

Suggesting Christianity is "controlling of women" is as ridiculous as suggesting yoga is controlling of men.

Straw-man examples of religious malpractice represent religion no more than Satan worship represents secularism.

Skip, just because it replaced church with football, don’t think Secularism is not a religion.

Get out the dictionary.
Secular means unbiased.
One literal definition is that it exactly is 'not religion'.
Do you have your own made up dictionary that you are compiling according to what ever mood you are in ?
Religion is based on opinion.
It is not supported by fact.

I consider most religious people Devil worshipers, in a joking way. The devil is in the details of worship of opinion, and the killing, maiming, and torture of those with contrary views.

Skip,

You are long overdue for your education to evolve beyond literal translations of Webster's Dictionary.

Learn something:

For each element in Christianity, secularism has its counterpart: a strict ethical code, usually packaged as health issues like ("Thou shalt not smoke," or "thou shalt wear a condom"); the use of shame when individuals disregard ethical rules (Isaiah Washington); a related promise of eternal life through medical advances (botox, testosterone patch, stem cell; a creation story (Darwinian evolution); and so forth.

All that's missing is an official deity. Not every religion has one, as the case of Zen Buddhism attests.

Skip. Face it. You are a religious nut. No different than a Jehova's Witness.

You have just bought into a competing faith that tricked you by telling you it was a "no faith" and it's competing faiths were repressive.

You fell for the okydoke.

Think about it Skip.

I have thought about it and you are WRONG.
Totally wrong.
Just the opposite is true actually.
Like the Catholics that have a devil, as opposed to an angel, you are caught in the rather meaningless argument that a secular person is a counterpoint to a religious person. Not true.
Religion which is make believe always has a buga boo of something or other to try and scare people with.
They will even exorcise supposed 'devils' to heal a person of their problems.
While I have not come here to defend secularism since that is not my thing(really that is mostly false points made for political crap reasons), I am only pointing out some really basic reality as a favor for you, since you seem awfully confused.
You advise to not use a dictionary?
Mmmm. that could get very confusing if we are talking in the same language with words that have general definitions.
Reality check
There is no such thing as a secularist conspiracy or even organized group.
You are sounding a lot like Fox news.
You can make up fake reality all you want, but it is just your opinion.
I doubt you will have many takers on that, because it does not jive with reality.

DV-
Suggesting Christianity is "controlling of women" is as ridiculous as suggesting yoga is controlling of men.

Just as ridiculous as suggesting feminism is controlling females? Yet everyday you seem to have a new post about how feminism is emasculating men and brain-washing females.

....Puh-leaze!!!
