How The Israel Lobby Controls US Foreign Policy (And Starts Wars)

"Every time anyone says that Israel is our only friend in the Middle East, I can't help but think that before Israel, we had no enemies in the Middle East."

US lobby seeks Iran investment boycott
By Guy Dinmore in Washington
Financial Times

The most influential pro-Israel lobby group in the US on Monday warned state pension funds that they would face a campaign to sell billions of dollars invested in companies with ties to Iran.

The nationwide divestment campaign was one of the main messages delivered at the annual convention in Washington of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac), which also called for tightening sanctions against Iran at the United Nations.

The concept and practice of “terror-free” investing is gathering momentum in the US, among public as well as private funds. Several states have already instructed their pension funds not to invest in countries on the State Department’s list of terror sponsors, namely Iran, Syria, Sudan, Cuba and North Korea.

Oh please, give us a break! Wasn't it these same Israelis who were supporting the South African government with arms and ammunition at the height of Apartheid??

Yes, Accra

You are 100% correct.

It is also the same Israelis that have been arming Sudanese "rebels" facilitating the escalation of the conflict.

Deconstruction of the Darfur Lie exposes how our political process is manipulated by special interests on the left and the right.

Here we have a foreign lobby skipping the US federal government all together and lobbying state governments directly to act not in the interests of the US people, but the Zionist state.

Still, 90% of Americans will read this and simply shrug their shoulders, not understanding how it is relevant to their lives.

The reality of this type of warmongering is 10 times a greater threat, to young black men, than what happened in Jena, Louisiana.
