"Yoga - The opposite of alienation"

"Repression is the forcing down or out of view of thoughts. It is the pretending that these thoughts - mostly negative, socially unacceptable, frightening, but sometimes embarrassingly delightful – do not exist. It is a kind of hiding from the truth.

While in meditation we practicing recognizing, acknowledging and investigating the arising of said thoughts, and then with gentle awareness, not attaching “Who We Are” to them, we simply watch them, experience them until there is nothing left of them to witness."

That was from me to you Skip. You only think these ramblings you have are "your world view"

If you step back some, take a depe breath, you might see that they are more like breeze than bricks.

Eastern meditation bullshit will lead around in circles for ever.

People will sublimate their real anger, and swallow the crap given them , and meditate instead of acting.
It is pure suburban spirituality meant to choke people on their own vomit, yet keep them breathing and acting against one another.
The vomit is what they do in their real life.
The meditation is how the rationalize it.

That was very nice poetry Jasai, and I adore you pretty much.

The classic observer.

I understand what you are saying, it is being the observer, and not identifying with the observed.
It is the other side of the coin, and you presented that well.

There is a lot to be gained from thinking about it like that also.
Thanks beauty.

Tomorrow, the lady Jasai begins her Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. (interesting, Mr. Watt's description of this style of yoga. It fits so well with the lioness in me. the universe is too clever)

Keep me in your heart/mind.

I expect to see all of you in at least one of my classes.
