Marriage

Heterosexual love and marriage is the path intended for us to find fulfillment, self-transcendence and God. This is why we are so obsessed with it. By definition we must find God ourselves. This is the essence of freedom. The following description is a signpost. If you find genuine happiness by other routes, I salute you. I am sounding a theme. Play your own variations.

1) Heterosexuality is a life cycle not a "sexual preference." It centers on courtship, marriage, and family (parenthood). Most heterosexual beings need marriage and family to fulfill their destiny.

2) Marriage is a sacred union in which male and female become "one" in love. A child is the expression of this oneness. Marriage takes place when the male spirit in the form of love possesses the female spirit. Heterosexual love mirrors G-d's love of creation. The male channels G-d's love to the female, who is creation.

3) God's love is like the sunrise that pervades and illuminates creation each day. Contrary to what we have been taught, women need constantly to be possessed and spiritually fertilized by man's love. Similarly men have a fundamental psychological need to possess a woman with his love.

4) Women need to experience power as love. Men need to express love as power. For both sexes, healthy union is a condition for healthy development. The male's possession of female, the exchange of female power for male love, is the heart of the heterosexual relationship. It is how union takes place. Courtship involves winning female trust. The male presents her with a vision of life together. He is basically saying: "Follow me. Become one with me. I will use power on behalf of our union." - Daniel Rainey

this has a lot of gaping holes and presumes that every situation and every couple is the same.

Given that according to Big J 40% of black men are gay (assuming Skip is black), the odds are pretty good that Skip is and I, and your Daddy, and young Lion...

Thus goes Big J reasoning...

Fish,

I think our beloved sista is implying the number of black men who are practicing homosexuals is closer to the mathematically impossible "40%" number quoted earlier. In your previous post you appear skeptical.

One of the tactics of the Gay lobby in their struggle to normalize homosexuality, was to encourage the perception that the numbers of homosexuals were so vast, it could no longer be considered aberrant or deviant behavior.

40% male homosexuality among any species or group is

I don't think that 90%/40% shit is funny at all. It is part an parcel of the latest racist assault on black folks. Fact is that our own ingest and spread this bull is what makes this effective.

Big J, you need to check yourself and either back this stuff up, or retract it.

Fuck that liberal "I was just joking" bullshit. The state of our families and intra-black women/men relationships are precarious enough.

Get 'em Mike.

I feel you on that one.
