“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians.
Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
- Mahatma Gandhi

Can the people lobbying for war, fabricating evidence of WMD's, and perpetuating policies that ensure greater death and destruction - really be called "Christians"? Doesn't a Christian, by definition, attempt to imitate Christ?

Are we what we call ourselves, or are we what we do?

I think we are what we do...unfortunately most people determine who are 'Christians' by what they profess to be...

Just because someone calls themself a duck doesn't make them a duck...

LOL.

I like that Soteria.

And just because someone claims not to worship God, doesn't mean they don't worship something else.

Christianity has been bastardized by all the false prophets walking about and their equally brainwashed followers.

Most people know what is right and what is wrong... it's inherent.....

knowing it's inherent is half the battle anonymous.

beautiful.

you got all these prophets/profiteers/preachers and pimps trying to tell sell you tickets to a show you already have VIP seats for.

You are absolutely right Jasai, Where I come from, christianity has become big business. It's actually quite pitiful.... within a one mile radius we have about 10 churches carrying on 24/7.... all with self styled pastors/prophets or whatever they call themselves.

the congregation are mostly people who earn less than a $ a day..... yet these pastors end up living luxury lifestyles..... and the congregation cannot see through them....... it completly disgraceful.

Who was it who said that religion was the opiate for the masses?

It is within, fellowship is good, but not like this!
