Doubts raised about JFK plot
The Canadian Press
Toronto (Jun 4, 2007)
Two terrorism experts in Canada are casting doubt on whether a group of alleged terrorists had the means or know-how to carry out a devastating attack on a U.S. airport.
Three men -- two from Guyana and one from Trinidad -- are in custody while a fourth is being sought. Russell Defreitas, above, a 63-year-old Guyanese native and naturalized American citizen who lives in Brooklyn, is described as the ringleader.
U.S. authorities say the group was planning to destroy New York's JFK airport and kill thousands of people by blowing up a jet fuel artery that runs through residential neighbourhoods.

What a bunch of bullshit. DV, your seriously rubbing off on me. My ears didnt perk up until the part where they said the "suspects" were from Trinidad and Guyana (sp). After that, the term "propaganda" came to mind along with the phrase "negro flogging of the week."
Have you noticed that this story has been all but dropped from the headlines as of Monday morning? It was all the rage at the end of last week and over the weekend, but today is captured soldiers, rise in robberies and the debate of the Dems.
The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.
