Damn. They got him too.

"Our helicopter landed in the town of Kiryat Shmona on the border. What struck me first about the village was how familiar it looked. The houses and streets looked like ones you might find in a suburb in America. I could imagine young children riding their bikes down the streets. I could imagine the sounds of their joyful play just like my own daughters. There were cars in the driveway. The shrubs were trimmed. The families were living their lives."

Inevitably, one by one, American leaders bow before AIPAC, where they essentially state an oath of allegiance to the Zionist State.

I was in Kiryat Shmona back in 1981, it got rocket attack on the same day from forces in southern Lebanon, forces which would eventually become Hezbollah, and two people were killed. I noticed last year the settlement was getting hit by rockets from Lebanon once again, not much has changed in 25 years I suppose.

I don't imagine you've ever been to Israel, or anywhere else in the Middle East, I suggest you go. Take a trip to Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Israel and the Palestinian territories, then come back and tell us about your experiences, I imagine it will be an eye-opener for you, and judging by the crap I read on this blog you need it.

Yes Aaron. As a matter of fact, I have been to the middle east. No I have not been to Israel.

Have you ever had your home bulldozed?

And?

... what's that fact have to do with a leading presidential contender rubber stamping right wing Israeli foreign policy that guarantees perpetual war?

Hey Aaron,

Why don't you finish the story - that Kiryat Shimona and other border villages get shelled because Israel has been steadily attempting to encroach on Lebanese territory, to steal the land up to the Litani River; that the Israeli government could care less about Kiryat Shimona because they, like their neocon brethren, only care about domination and will happily sacrifice their own citizens in pursuit of that goal.

Excellent question Insurgent. It appears Israel apologists like Aaron X have a need to pretend Palestinian resistance was born in a vacuum.

As if the illegal Israeli occupation, land stealing, targeted assassinations and shooting of children in the face could not possibly contribute to the mutual terrorism waged in the region.

The sad thing is the number of Americans conditioned to associate any attack upon occupation, land stealing, assassinations and child killing - as an attack upon Jews.

I just wonder whether the hardline pro-Israel folks honestly BELIEVE this stuff????

To "believe" implies a quest for truth.

As far as Zionist Extremists are concerned, nothing is more anti-Semitic than the truth.
