All of his record industry contacts came from the work he put in on the Chitlin tour, and black musicians hooking him up with folks. Besides, I don't have a personal grievance with Lil Wayne. As I've said before, I owned several of his albums and mixtapes and used to bump his stuff.

Music about promiscuity, drug use and violence, no matter how artfully presented, doesn't appeal to me as much as I try to align myself with Christian tenets.

Actually, my point is I don't rock with Lil Wayne like you. I'm not as enamored with him as you are. In fact, when I was listening to rap, I far preferred TI to Wayne. And I'd rather listen to Andre 3000 over both of them.
That said, I don't have a problem with your idea that there is something wrong with Wayne being arrested for breaking the gun laws. As I said earlier, I don't like seeing black brothers go to jail unless they are the most heinous of criminals, which most of them are not.

KW, I am not leaving the site because I felt that DV slighted me. Hell he's done that many many times along with others like Dina and DMG. I just feel that my time should be spent doing more constructive things. I also feel that this site has outplayed its usefulness to me.
