I feel sorry for the people losing their homes, I couldnt even imagine. Luckily, I reside safely in the hood. No brush to speak of. LOL.

Yeah, I'm in the hood too...the low levels :-) LA is literally surrounded by inferno...it's eerie.
But do you remember the Baldwin Hills fires several years back?? Disaster has come close to home...a far cry from the hills of Malibu etc. However I think they've kept the brush cleared in the years since.
