Hip Hop Degrades Black Women

Analogy Of The Month - Brother Mike Fisher

Aside from the other nonsense you just stated, where was I "crucifying mothers"? I said women (in most cases, if not all) can not teach a boy how to be a man. That's not blaming anyone.

It's like saying fish generally don't fly, or 1+1=2. I don't blame fish for not flying. I'd only be somewhat concerned if the fish CLAIMED they could fly. Or I'd be concerned with someone's mental state if that someone insisted that 1+1=3.

Actually, Hip Hop Celebrates Black Women

One Of The Best Films Ever Made. Should Have Won An Oscar.

I just happened to catch this flick on my iPod as I flew across country yesterday. I was stunned. This film is a work of art and an amazing human story.

I couldn't believe I had allowed the anti-Mel Gibson hype to dissuade me from seeing this film when it was in the theaters.

After Mel said "Jews start the wars" he could have made The Godfather and it would have been shunned.

TMZ Refers To Beyonce As "RoboHo". Al Sharpton "Protests". Surprise. Post Civil Rights Negros Live For This

Sharpton to TMZ: "Roboho" a Big No No
National Action Network President Al Sharpton has set his sights on TMZ.com over the word "Roboho" in a fashion piece that was published two weeks ago:

"Calling any woman a "ho" is demeaning and abusive and it should not be tolerated on any level. It is intolerable to think that TMZ.com would find humor in calling Beyonce -- someone who symbolizes the strength, dignity and uplifting of Black women -- a "Roboho," and they should be denounced by the entire community for glorifying the continued oppression of women with this derogatory term. Racism in America is perpetuated by ignorance and hate and using one's airwaves or media entity to promote it is a blatant setback to civil rights and the advancement of equality.

National Action Network has been in the forefront of protesting the word "ho" and will hold a 20-city tour featuring 100 women in each market on August 7th to protest the use of the word "ho" as well as the "N" and "B" words. We encourage TMZ.com to retract their misogynistic labeling of Beyonce and apologize immediately."

I think Ol' Al should just let Jigga handle it.

Post-Civil Rights Negros "Bury" The Word Nigga. Talk About A NonIssue

CNN: Texans have funeral to 'bury the N-word' in graveyard
David Edwards and Josh Catone
Published: Sunday July 8, 2007

By Way of Intellectual Insurgent

A small group in Pearland, Texas gathered on Saturday at the Houston Memorial Gardens to symbolically lay to rest the "N-word."

"I would like for you to take note of the casket," said organizer Tammie Campbell to the crowd gathered for the mock funeral. "The first documented use [of the N-word] was 1786, which we lay to rest today, 7-7-7."

A movement to outlaw the use of the word is spreading, reports CNN. In January of this year, another small Texas town banned the word, and in March the New York City council voted unanimously to symbolically outlaw it.

"We want positive affirmations from everyone," Robbie Evans of the University of Houston told the crowd on Saturday, "that the N-word dies with all of this."

Once again the MSM hits us in the head with "news" of Handkerchief head know nothing post-civil rights Negroes led by the nose by neo-liberal charlatans picking their battles for them.

This is a non-issue sucking up far too much energy from supposedly educated empowered black people.

Quiet as it's kept - "Nigga" (Only punk ass conformists say 'the N word') makes white folks far more uncomfortable than black people. The term is a perfect example of taking a weak abstraction and converting it to an empowering tool. The term is used in a variety of ways, it's tonal and complex. White people, and many Negros don't understand it. That's why they are intimidated by it.

A lesson plantation Negros are most reluctant to learn.

Big Ups. A Couple of Brothas Doing Their Thing.

Yet Another Reason I Support Rap ...

ELLE MAGAZINE : If your life depended on sleeping with a man, who would you choose?

TAYE DIGGS: It would have to be a really put-together brother. So, Tyson Beckford.

If it wasn't for Hip Hop, little bitch-made negros like this would be on Oprah day and night representing brothas. I'd take DMX and Jigga over Taye and Harold Ford Jr. any day of the week.

"I got a billion and a half dollars. Why I still aint happy?"

Wonder If This Bit of 'News' Will Get As Much Attention As The Initial Public Crucifixion

An off-duty police officer, D.D. Andrews, who witnessed a strip club confrontation involving Adam “Pacman” Jones, says the NFL star was not the aggressor and only threatened to get a gun after hearing that an armed man was waiting for him in the parking lots.

"Under these circumstances it seemed justified to me for Mr. Pacman Jones to want to defend himself. Instead he walked away," D.D. Andrews, a Clayton County sheriff's deputy who was working security at the club, said in a written statement.

Consider Yourself Educated? You Really Should Understand How Money Is Made In This "War".

The last act of a failed government is the looting of the state. For 5 years now the government has been handing "private contractors" $1 Billion tax dollars per week. Your little stock portfolio and retirement plan is going to be worth about as much as Confederate dollars after the Civil War.

Another Brother Dead In Iraq - Why?

The last time Pfc. Andre Craig Jr., called home, on Saturday, he told his mom he was exhausted. The 24-year-old infantryman had been on patrol all night, family members said.

Then he left for a mission, they said. Soon afterward, the Humvee in which Craig was riding in was struck by an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He died Monday from his wounds, according to the Department of Defense.

Craig's mother and wife did not wish to speak with reporters, but relatives at the press conference outside a relative's home on Bassett Street held Craig's baby daughter, Taylor, who was born while he was in Iraq. She wore a white dress decorated with red and blue stars.

Craig returned home on leave last month, meeting Taylor for the first time and visiting with neighbors, who warned him to be careful in Iraq.

"Dre," as Craig was known, had long dreamed of joining the Army and also hoped to become a state trooper after his service, relatives and friends said. The Wilbur Cross High School graduate had hoped the Army would pay for his college education.

One of six siblings in a close-knit family, Craig served as a big brother figure to many children in the Hill neighborhood where his family lived, urging young people to stay out of trouble, residents there said.

Seeing his daughter changed Andre, Jonathan Craig, 20 said about his big brother - he had a gleam in his eye, as if he suddenly had a new purpose in life.

But during his time home from Iraq, Jonathan said, Andre also seemed to have something on his mind, as if he knew something bad was going to happen.

Jonathan recited his brother's last words to him: "Take care of my daughter as if you were the father, until I come back."

So The Sista Said To Don Imus ... A DV Joint

Who Was Jesus?

"Many of the madonnas painted in the earliest centuries of Christ- iandom were black, according to historians, and it wasn't until the Renaissance that it became popular to give the mother of Christ the features of a Florentine maiden [a white woman]" Washington Post (Religion) May 4, 1979.

Did Christianity Evolve From The Egyptian (African / Kemet) Spiritual Tradition?

Praying To Mecca

A Bedouin man, facing Mecca, says his midday praryers along the Red Sea coast of the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.

I'm no Muslim. However, I find it hard to think of people who pray to God five times a day as 'fanatical terrorists' and people who worship money, lie about WMD's and invade other nations as 'spreaders of democracy'.
