Damn bro - I bet your poop is green after eating all of that chlorophyll.

:-)

Seriously though - last Saturday I was at the local farmers market. Despite all of the faux upsetness over Mary J Blige's "Chicken" commercial - I saw a scene that affirmed that BLACK FOLKS LOVE COLLARD GREENS - especially for Easter Sunday dinner.

There were two large bins of greens. Black folks huddled around them. The Korean man came out with a manual fork lift, took away one of the bins. The people converged on the remaining bin.

The Korean man came back out with a new bin full of greens and everyone that was still picking over the first bin, switched over to the second bin.

I LOVE GREENS.
It is a health food - depending on how you fix it. I know that brother DV doesn't use pig knuckles any more as he has weaned himself off of the pig.

I can't understand how Black folks allow other people to assign judgment upon our food preferences and we respond with offense. If you like greens and fried chicken SCREW what other people think.

Do you have kids? I don't see any milk. What do you do for calcium?

Calcium is found in vegetables, not just milk.

BoomTap is right. Calcium is found in green vegetables. Where do you think the cows get their calcium?

DV, do I see mustard in there? :-)
