They say homosexuality is not a choice, that you are born gay. But almost every gay person I have known was molested as a child. You cannot possibly say that their experience does not influence their sexual choices later in life.
I had a friend who was molested as a child by several older men. When he got older, he was sexually active with men and women. He WAS NOT happy having sexual feelings for men. He tried to find a therapist to help him work through these feelings. Instead, his therapists all insisted that he was a gay man, and just needed to embrace his homosexuality. He stopped seeing therapists.
Now he is an monogamous relationship with a woman, and has a new baby.
Now, I do not believe that gay people should be abused for their choice, but I also do not believe that children need to be brainwashed into believing that it is just the way you are born.
