Study Says Better Educated Familes Are Turning Their Backs On Vaccines ... Can DV Call 'Em or Can DV Call 'Em?

Vaccination rates among children insured by commercial health insurance plans have dropped four percent between 2008 and 2009, says a new report by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. In its annual State of Health Care Quality report, the organization revealed that vaccine rates are falling sharply among high-education families.

This trend infuriates the vaccine industry and all the shills who push vaccines, of course. Despite all their high-dollar propaganda, expensive advertising and vaccine booths in airports, Wal-Marts and grocery stores, more and more people are coming to realize that many vaccines are dangerous for children and the seasonal flu vaccines in particular offer absolutely no scientifically-validated benefit whatsoever. They are pure quackery and nothing more.

DV,

Me and my wife recently had a baby girl and she is coming up on her 2 month checkup. What do I need to do to exempt her from any more vaccinations (got the hep b at birth)? And do you have any good sources of info I can research or look at?

I appreciate your blog, keep it up!

I'm sure DV got a long list.

Two books someone put me on to:

"How To Raise A Healthy Child In Spite Of Your Doctor"-Robert S. Mendelson

"The Vaccine Guide: Risks and Benefits for Children and Adults"-Randall Neustaedter

That bad boy starts of even before the title page telling you, "ALL vaccines carry risks of adverse reactions."

Reggie,

If you're the Reggie I know, I can e-mail you a truckload of information on the subject. If you don't still have it, get my e-mail from Justin.

Also, the absolute best book on the subject is The Vaccine Safety Manual by Neil Z. Miller.

As far as the exemptions go, it isn't relevant until your kid goes to school and it's just a blue form you sign that says your kid's not vaccinated because it violates your belifs. My older hasn't had a problem with getting into school. Otherwise, just tell the pediatrician you're not doing the shots. They will likely hem and haw and try to put on the hard sell, and they may even kick you out of the practice, but YOU CAN SAY NO!

I just ordered Vaccines are Dangerous by Curtis Cost. He was on the COWS radio show and my friend told me he said a lot of good shit. Looking forward to reading the book! I believe he addresses the AIDS/HIV hoax as well

Reggie,

I think you're talking more on the lines of what you can actually do to prevent having to get your daughter vaccinated for school, daycare, etc.

You can find vaccination exemption forms by state online; simply print that joint out and get it notarized (that's all you have to do in VA at least; ours are "religious" exemptions). Slide one over to the daycare/school when registering her, and you should be good to go. I got 'em for my daughter who's in school already, and one waiting on deck for my son when he's old enough to start school...inshallah I'll be in the position to homeschool at that point.

And apparently schools are supposed to have these forms available to you already...whether they'll tell you that is another story.

Just keep in mind you'll be fuckin' with the doc's time and money, so if you happen to have to tell them to put the syringe down before they shoot your little girl up with a whole lot of who-knows-what, be prepared to hear a lot more nonsense about why vaccines are important because of yadayadayawn. It's all scripted, so don't worry about it.

I appreciate the feedback. I will be getting those books that you all posted up.

If you want a book that doesn't take a position for or against vaccines, but is purely informative as to what the vaccines are, "The Vaccine Book" by Dr. Sears is a good one.

If you want a book that doesn't take a position for or against vaccines, but is purely informative as to what the vaccines are, "The Vaccine Book" by Dr. Sears is a good one.

Which is precisely why Dr. Sears book is one of the most worthless wastes of paper on the market. Dr. Sears is a wishy washy, mealy-mouthed doctor who addresses absolutely no substance on the vaccine issue but, rather, provides comfort to those who know intuitively vaccines are bad, but don't have the courage to go against them.

If Dr. Sears honestly told his readers "what vaccines are", no one with a brain and a conscience would vaccinate their kids. So he says a whole lot of nothing and calls it the "middle ground".

He provides some happy feel good "alternatives" (Hegelian dialectic) to the standard schedule, all the while affirming the vaccine regime. His book is the ultimate Hegelian Dialectic in action.

If you accept the mythology that vaccines are absolutely necessary to ward off disease, then staggering the vaccines over a longer period is a danger to your child. If you don't accept that mythology, then what purpose is served by staggering the shots?

Dr. Sears makes absolutely no damn sense. His book is not designed to answer real questions or provide legitimate information on vaccines. Rather, its purpose is to give those who are literate enough to read his book the illusion that they did "research" on the subject and are making an "informed" decision.

"The best way to control the opposition is to control it."

I am not endorsing Dr. Sears. I did, however, find that particular book informative in the sense that it tells you what each vaccine is and what is in it. I found it useful from that standpoint.

Sasha,

You are too bright to endorse his clap trap. It surprises me just how many people rely on his book in making their decision, not realizing the trap they step in when doing so.

What was it that was most helpful in making the vaccine decisions for your son?
