There is no way a reporter can break what we do down and say you are doing this, you're not doing that. I am offering so much more now. Why would people even play themselves and try to review it? How do you review songs when Rick Ross comes in 6 minutes after a guitar solo? Then just for the sake of showing that you have some sort of Hip Hop intelligence or knowledge, or love of the first WuTang album, you knock half a star off of it.
I've never got a Classic rating or a Perfect a rating, but I mean ... College Drop Out, Late Registration, Graduation set the tone for all rap music ... After The Fact. That was coming in and getting like 3 1/2 stars by writers who just wanted to say some dumb shit.
