How do we know when control is achieved? What happens when control is achieved?
I believe there is no such thing as partially free or more free etc. Either you are free or you are not... Look at the ideas in this blog, and the discourse, then compare that to the outcome of the real life DV... We are obviously free.

I suspect we know when control is achieved because we stop behaving in our own interests.
- waging wars that make us less safe.
- eating food that makes us sick.
- adopting behavior that destroys our spirit
- behaving like slaves

Denmark Vesey was a slave who planned a revolt, was captured then executed for voicing, fighting & planning to strive for what he believed & what is right. Maybe I'm being too simplistic but we are not faced with that level of control... And that's a good thing right?!?
