JH, after eating ham, I have trouble hiding my tail.

LOL. I know... I know. I should know better, but I still love bacon and such. Thankfully, I eat MUCH LESS than years ago, and I am on my way to almost eliminating it altogether.

"Human Genes Put Into Pig Sperm

"A new method for putting genes into an animal species by gene therapy on sperm has been tested in pigs:

Genetically-modified animals can be created simply by washing sperm, swishing it in a centrifuge with an additional gene, and using the altered sperm for artificial insemination, say Italian researchers.

Marialuisa Lavitrano's team at the University of Milan-Bicocca in Milan have demonstrated how well the simple method works by creating pigs that could one day provide rejection-free organs for transplantation into people. The technique worked 25 times more efficiently than the standard way of engineering animals.

Pigs are being used because genetically modified pigs are excellent candidates as methods to grow replacement human organs:

"In the U.S., every 18 minutes a person dies on the waiting list for organ transplants without receiving one. Every 18 minutes is a lot. Xenotransplation could really be a solution," lead researcher Marialuisa Lavitrano, an immunologist and pathologist at the University of Milan-Bicocca, told United Press International.

This sperm-based technique also is relatively cheap and about 14 to 114 times more effective at implanting genes in pigs than the direct injection of DNA, the most common way of making genetically engineered animals.

This method is cheaper and has a higher success rate than gene injection:

Ninety-three piglets were born after the researchers tinkered with the pig sperm, and 57 percent of them contained the human gene, suggesting the sperm soaked it up from the solution. When researchers injected sperm with the gene, only 4 percent of the piglets born had the gene inside them."

While I don't eat much of either, I've Actually never heard a reasoned argument as to why pork is worse for you than red meat. Many black folks seem to have this quasi-muslim rejection of the stuff that doesn't seem based on much other than being "down". I know a disciplined apporach to diet is a good direction to go, but we hate pork...love a burger. Wassup? Somebody educate me, plz.

http://www.blurtit.com/q596978.html

"A 1986 study linked pork consumption to cirrhosis of the liver (drinking alcohol while eating lots of pork was worse than drinking booze on its own). Raw pig meat is often contaminated by various parasites, such as fluke worm and trichinae. Salmonella may also be present. Some sources claim that cooking cannot completely remove these hazards, rendering any consumption unsafe. Most food safety
experts would disagree, though."

That's a quote from a four year old post on blurtit.com; I'm assuming the "food experts" have last names such as Smithfield, Hormel, Maschhoff and Tyson. I recall the old experiment of pouring soda on a raw piece of pork and watching maggots crawl out of it, but with all the other funkdafied mess going around like mad cow and salmonilla (sp)...picking one over the other is probably like picking the mumps over the measles. A lot of pork's "bad press" came from the fact that pigs don't sweat and eat their own feces...which makes them full of toxins and who knows what else. Can't really say how different that is from other animals however; never seen a cow sweat until right before his eyes get bigger than a mug and that blade goes through the neck while all his homeboys are watching.

As for the quasi-Muslim standpoint, Deuteronomy denounces pork as well (and any other split hooved animal)...of course fond readers of the Good Book these days stick to the New Testament, where for all I know Jesus could have lifted sanctions on pork and gave it the green light; I'm assuming in the same manner DL Hughley referred to Jesus turning water into wine and getting the party started.

This is too funny not to bring up-:)

From the book the "Atlantean Conspiracy":

Quote-

"Now I know where our "reptilian brain" comes from, and why all U.S. presidents have been "Bluebloods" and always end up subverting the will of the people, along with the connection between Hitler and "Aryans", where the Atlantic Ocean got it's name and why both Judaism and Islam forbid the eating of pork.

The Sirians determined that feeding the hybrids human hormones and blood in an altered animal form would be the easiest way to do it unnoticed by the population.

The sacrificial animal used by most Middle Eastern people was the wild boar, so the Sirians chose it as the basis for this new animal hybrid. Human genetics were mixed with those of the wild boar to create the domesticated pig.

This animal was served daily to the Bluebloods as a method of temporarily maintaining their human form until they could use an actual human in a sacrificial ceremony.

Because the domesticated pig is a combination of human and animal genetics, eating it is a form of cannibalism. This explains why the Hebrews considered it unclean to eat. This is also why the pig is considered to be the most intelligent animal on Earth, why pig skin can be grafted directly onto humans in burn cases, and why pig heart valves can be used in humans with little difficulty. Cancer drugs and other chemicals are often tested on pigs before humans.

The domesticated pig frequency, or group mind, is the perfect vehicle for animal species to enter before entering human form on their evolutionary progression. In many respects, pigs can be considered a form of humanity.

The Sumerians became known as the sum-Aryans, or just, Aryans. They spread out across Asia into the steppes of Russia and into the Northern Indian subcontinent. In India they encountered the dark-skinned Dravidians from Lemuria. The Dravidians were driven to the central and southern parts of India, while the Aryan hybrids took control of the north, and into the foothills of the Himalayas. The Aryan leaders, all Bluebloods, became the Sultans and Rajas of legend and history. Sumerians also created Babylonia.

The Sumerians also migrated to the area known as the Caucasus Region, where the Khazars developed. From the Caucasus Region, the Blueblood kings and their people spread west toward Europe, developing into the Franks, Cambrians, and Teutonic nationalities. "

Think twice.:)

You could be eating a long lost relative.

BTW, before you dismiss this, Science has fail to come up with a TRUE evolutionary path of the Wild boar to the pink domesticated pig. Research it yourself.

mmmmmm....mmmmm....good!

“The Sumerians became known as the sum-Aryans, or just, Aryans. They spread out across Asia into the steppes of Russia and into the Northern Indian subcontinent.”—Wax

This is conspiracy theory driven by historical ignorance. Anyone with a thimble of knowledge of Ancient Sumer knows that “a major element in Sumerian civilization were black migrants from the Nile Valley (Van Sertima).

“In their own literature the Sumerians called themselves, ‘the black-heads,’ and were only one of numerous Nilotic Kushite colonies implanted in early Asia.”—Runoko Rashidi

Rashidi proceeds to back this statement up with anthropological evidence if anyone is interested in reading his essay in “African Presence in Early Asia.”

As for the people who would call themselves Aryans, Wayne Chandler explains:

[Right now we are in the Kali Yuga, or the “age of darkness,” which is said to have begun in the year 3102 BCE with two ominous events. The first was the disappearance of the great warrior sage Krishna, the Christ of India, whose name literally means “Black One.” The second event was the appearance, advance, and conquest of most of Europe and Asia by the Indo-European hordes who referred to themselves as Hittites, Indo-Iranians, and Aryans, the latter being a name that means the “noble ones.” Originating on the Eurasian Steppes circa 4000 BCE, the Indo-European advance became the mechanism to inaugurate the Kali Yuga. With superior weapons and steeds bred for speed, the hordes converged on Europe, West and South Asia. They carried with them a propensity for extreme aggression and violence as never before witnessed in our epoch)—Wayne Chandler-- “Ancient Future”

Reading some books, as opposed to surfing conspiracy theory websites just might reduce ones propensity for historically ignorant statements.

^^ That's some old Negro Civil Rights era Nahhhnsense.

Makheru, what's the difference between information in a book and information on a website?

...

...

... ?

Why are things written in books and published by the Plantation automatically held in higher regard than anything else?

What's different other than a stamp of approval from the Plantation?

Hell I can find a book that says people of African descent contributed no more to world civilization than the horse.

Doesn't make it so.

At the end of the day we have to actually THINK ABOUT and come to our own conclusions.

Plantation Schools never taught Negros to do that.

Which is why they are so uncomfortable and bitter and resentful when forced to do so here.

Thanks to the Internet now we have every kind of information to our reach.

Good information, bad information, disinformation, crazy information.
All kinds of information.

So it will be harder for the establishment and governments to suppress truth and keep the obscurity and secrecy they have been using for so long to keep the masses in comfort.

This is a time where more and more people can make music and do not need a record deal, can write books and do not need a publisher to get the message to the public.

17 years old kids are CEO's of six figure income companies thanks to information.

Information is making the world spin faster.

And the access to it will raise questions to the curious children and will eventually I believe will rip apart the matrix and the construct of every kind of established system.

For that we need to open ourselves to new information and realities... and open up to inner aspects of ourselves.

Unless you love the plantation. :P

None, if you don't have any baseline knowledge of the subject you're writing about, and if you don't demonstrate the capacity to draw cross-references.

You just read it and copy/paste it. Ignorance is bliss, until challenged.

At the end of the day we have to actually THINK ABOUT and come to our own conclusions.-- DV

Well now, how much critical thinking and analysis is involved before we actually post something on the internet? What I see is a lot of just running with parts of something we may agree with, without thoroughly analyzing and cross-referencing the full text.
