The founders of the American state understood that the proper functioning of a democracy required an educated electorate. The cats that introduced me to the book question some of his conclusions (as CNu would put it "50 page book-esque) but still find it a must read to get a full understanding of what an "Arab" actually is contrary to the contemporary definition.
