About two hours ago at 10:50 pm, Wayne Madsen's article, "Government Insiders: Get Ready For The Gulf Dead Zone", was published for oilprice.com.
This is the original source of the story, and it's already gone viral.
The thing is, is there's no mention of it on the FEMA website. Madsen rarely reveals his sources and although some of his stories are correct, others are not.
If he's correct, keep in mind that it's FEMA's job to be prepared for the worse. Given the toxicity, however, I think some evacuations will happen.
