Public school teaching and TFA are for people raised on a steady diet of Stand By Me and all the silly Michelle Pfeifer Great White Idealistic Teacher saving poor ghetto Black kids by showing them there is a better way stories.I haven't seen the movie, but isn't this year's White Hero some character played by Sandra Bullock who adopts a homeless Black kid who is talented at football?
The people who fall for this Great White Hope Saving Poor Black People Theme are stupid liberals who want to be heroes. And one thing I've found quite consistent about stupid liberals who want to save everyone else - they are the ones most in need of being saved. They are usually trainwrecks in their personal lives, such as these two women, and truly have no dignity or morality.
It will take no time before these two women are going to claim they are the victims of discrimination and bully the school district into re-hiring them. They will ultimately come out ahead for all this.

Yea that movie is called "The Blind Side". And the blind side it is indeed cuz that shit is blantantly racist, and she (Bullock) might get nominated for an oscar for it...your prediction of these young women claiming discrimination makes good sense in today's social climate. i wonder, will it be for reverse-racism or homophobia??

i thought it was just me as i know i can be a little too "conspiracy sista" at times.
this movie is based off of a true story...and i admire any person who extends their hand to help another human..but come on. Hollywood has once again spun this story to shore up the ideal of "the negro must be saved and the only people who can save them just happen to be white"....

Plantation Negros & Plantation Crackas have been conditioned to view critical thinking as taboo.
Conformity is a religion. They think education is adoption of consensus. "Polls" are presented as evidence of merit.
Whenever the Plantation wants people to do something ... all they have to do is show images and release memes that suggest "most people are doing it".
That's how they got so many Plantation Negros and Crackas to squirt monkey virus juice up their noses to save them from a Fake Pandemic.
(It is official now. The H1N1 "Pandemic" was as fake as the 1976 Swine Flu "epidemic")
All they had to do was show pictures of people standing in line and repeat over and over that their is a vaccine "shortage"... and the monkeys line up offering their veins to Baxter Pharmaceutical to the tune of $Billions.

I actually read the book this movie is based on, and the book isn't about saving a Negro. It's a look at how changes in what people were looking for in the left tackle position in pro football affected the life of a poor black boy who had been abandoned.
The white woman have a very small role in the actual book, but of course that was expanded for the movie.
