The Plantation Negro Princess • Another Hegelian Headfake

Disney (an organization as Jewish as the Nation of Islam is black) takes some little dark skinned animated white girl, calls her "The First Black Princess" (There were Black Princesses when Europeans were still living in caves) and Plantation Negros flock in droves to the theater to pay $42 for tickets and GMO popcorn soaked in an obesity causing indigestible mystery oil criminally labeled "butter". My people. My people.

Prediction: Disney will present The First Gay Princess by 2016.

For grown women to be crying over Disney is just pathetic; instead of being critique on Disney all they have are tears. Lame.

Even more lame is the ones who see this for what it is, but lack the courage to speak out against this white skin black mask princess.

Admittedly, I would/have gotten something like this for my niece and nephew, but this is entertainment, not the source of their education of self. That comes primarily from us, the family and secondly the African Heritage books and films.

And even though its good for them to grow up with the innocence of kids, cos talking about race issues *can* take away a childlike understanding of the world, seeing a li'l sista and a li'l brotha like this is straight fire! ...one
IMAGINE:
EBONY MAGAZINE PRESENTS!
The First Jewish Princess!
Imagine thousands of Jewish women on TV and the radio in thankful tears that "Ebony FINALLY released a movie with a Jewish Princess!" Picture Jews lined up around the block and spending million$ to see it. My people. My people.

What's unsettling to me is the constant stream on the radio and TV of black women literally crying about how happy they are that Disney made a princess that "looked like them." If you need Disney to build up your "self"-esteem, Heaven help you!

Ugghhhhh .... yuck!

I haven't seen that Cuz.

I don't know if I can take that Bra. Where have you seen that? Paid commercials or media coverage?

LOL.... ahhhh.

Thanks Sista Nurse.

Not recognizing Jayne Kennedy is like not recognizing The Great Pyramids.

Sista had an impact.

This study appears to contradict your assertions about black people and Plantation medicine.

The princess looks Black and is voiced over by a Black woman. I am happy that Disney put this movie out, but sad that it took so long. I am a Disney fanatic and you guys are being waaaaaay too hard on fans.

Most little girls when they are like six or something go through a princess phase (at least in the USA) it is a cultural phenomena. What is the harm in enjoying a movie about a brown little princess? Nothing whatsoever.

DV you are needlessly bitching about a non issue. More importantly, how come you haven't covered Kirikou et la Sorciere? That was an animated movie about a little Black hero, which was excellent although it was not produced by Black people.

What Up Biiiig Maaaan.

Another misinterpretation Bra.

"Plantation Negros" do not equal "Black People".

Black people have a long history with natural medicine and an instinctive skepticism of Plantation MD Quackery.

Grab your average non-corporate brotha off the street and ask him if he got the H1N1 Monkey Vaccine and he'll look at you like you are crazy.

Ask a sista with dreads about natural oils and get a lecture. Ask an old black man who grew up on a farm about the difference between organic home grown vegetables compared to factory vegetables coming out of Publix and Winn Dixie.

Cats who hustled and sold drugs are more likely to see Baxter, Merk and Pfizer as drug dealers than as saviors. Game recognizes ________ ?

Black folks off the grid (no health insurance / no corporate employer) are way healthier than black folks joined at the hip to the plantation.

Big Man...why are you troubling that man with facts and evidence?

He does not like them with a house
He does not like them with a mouse
He does not life facts Mr. Big Man.

No means no.

Sorry MOTI, I think Big Man got a little out of pocket there. I set him straight for you. Please continue.

Denmark Vesey said...

lol ... ahhh man. Here we go.

D ... what you talkin' 'bout bra?

I can't keep up with all your "One Up DV!" fantasies. What is it this time?

But I'm open?

What "facts" & "evidence" did I miss this time?

(But I gotta say it's good to see you still here. After the H1N1 Hoax panned out just as I warned it would ... despite all the fear mongering you laid on us about "healthy" young people fine and then dropping dead within hours of "acute respiratory yada yada" and you having to console grieving family yada yada ... thought you would have faded away in shame by now. Good to see your head up.)

DMG said...

Brother Host, I'm just trying to stop Big Man from bothering you with that article. The man is pestering you, and I'm stepping in to make him stop. Carry on, don't worry...nothing happened

(I never drop my head in shame. Especially not when I'm doing the right thing. One of my H1N1 patients should have her tracheostomy reversed soon by the way, thank you for asking, that was nice of you.)

KonWomyn said...

F'real Bra there's def some super telepathic waves embedded within these fibre optic transmissions. I'm posting these up for a short while. See them if y'can.
