The Official Conspiracy Theory suggests that the virus jumped species through the hunting and handling of chimpanzees—the 'natural transfer' or 'cut hunter' theory. The hunter shoots or stabs a chimp and is exposed to the virus either through handling its blood or eating it. (Am I right so far Plantation Negros? Where's Undercover Blackman when you need him? That's an interesting new theory. I was never convinced on the "cut hunter" thing anyway. I don't know if your theory is right, but it's definitely food for thought.
Folks have too much faith in other people. I'm convinced that humans are capable of anything, including creating and spreading the HIV virus.
