Part of Godliness is appreciating and understanding the differences between men and women. Men and Women are DIFFERENT. Period. End of discussion.
Women who hate God, hate Men. They hate masculinity. They hate anything that represents a man's unique nature. - Intellectual Insurgent

Ummm... lincolnperry... Did God create men in his image or mankind, which includes women? Since God is not human, God's image is about his spirit - not appearance (including gender).

Was wondering when you going to drop in on your boy. If I don't hear from you or Sista Nurse for a minute... I get all cranky and disagreeable. Before you know it, I'm postin' about the "Homo Lobby" and "NeoCons" and Mills and Fisher are having a racial Lincoln Douglas debate.
Which brings us to the subject of this thread.
The Insurgents acknowledgment of the urgently obvious
is wonderfully poetic,
the difference in masculine and feminine
is divinely copastetic
Listen carefully there will be no sequel
Not since she bit that apple
did Eve worry about "equal"
But in God's silence
there is brilliance
what's far more important is balance and guidance
who's subtlest and rawist
who's dopest and blackest,
and most importantly
who can give it up to the most highest

Love it.
God created Adam first, than took from his chest a rib, and created Wo-MAN as a helpmate, and companion, and her desire for godliness...let to her corruption by the satanic spawn!
More power to you insurgent!
i think I'm in love with Intellectual Insurgent.
Thats right, GOD created MAN first...and the Devil undestood this, thats why he tricked EVE first, and allowed her to influence ADAM.
And he continues to trick the woman to this day!
This is interesting, the problem is if you respect manhood, and the man as the head of the household, then you respect GOD, which may woman don't!
Where in the Bible does it say Eve was created from a rib from Adam?
And what about hermaphrodites, created by God as gender-blenders?

SHUT THE FUCK UP!!
Where in the bible did God create hermaphrodites? Please give the book, chapter, & verse!!

I guess God is a man II? I think God is much bigger than something our pidly brains can recognize. I don't innately consider God a man, although I was raised with that language. I think God is above all of our petty designations.
However, I do agree that many women who are spiritually void DO have issues with God and men, and likely a host of other issues as well!
About hermaphrodites, if God created all of us, then he created them too. Although you might put that on environmental exposures which caused the hormonal imbalance leading to hermaphroditism in the first place...
Gen 2:18-23, and hermaphrodites are genetic anomalies and defects!

GOD is not a man, GOD created man in his image, with attritubes such as reason, and discernment, woman was created as a compliment and partner to man.
I love when woman talk about the folly of man after 6000 years of coexistence!

Actually, the Hebrew word tsela would probably make more contextual sense translated as side, rather than rib.
Now humans have 22 chromosome pairs and 1 sex chromosome pair each.
Adam had an X-Y sex chromosome, hence was a male. So, the aliens ("gods") took the X "side" out and doubled it to create a female (X-X).
Genesis was all about gene-splicing - as symbolized by the caduceus.
For a lot of folks, the problem isn't the difference, it's the attempts by folks to use that difference to prove superiority.
Anybody who doesn't understand men and women are different is an idiot.
Anybody who thinks one gender is innately "superior" to the other is a fool.
God is spirit, we worship him in Spirit and in truth.
@Hawa Bond
That’s what I said...GOD clearly in the bible doesn’t teach women as inferior persons. We clearly are different in mind and spirit. Go read your bible 1 Cor 11:11,12 and go back and review Gen. 2:18, the point that I'm making is some women have a problem with headship being assigned to men by GOD. This in its self is not demeaning; GOD never gave absolute authority over woman. 1 Cor 11:1-3.
This applies only in the marriage arrangement and in the spiritual arrangement in worship. Because Christ has headship over man, and GOD has headship over Christ, MAN, and Woman.
Most women that have a problem with this have a problem with GOD, and are caught up in the independent spirit of the world!
Any man who has had in-depth relationships with women (and there aren't too many of us left) knows that dealing with a woman that hates men is like dealing with an atheist. A woman who hates men views men as "all bad," just as a anthiest views life as meaningless and "all bad." For both types of people, almost nothing provides encouragement.
No greater creation did God make than man and the creature of man (wo man) can only be as great as that which she was taken from. We await affirmation from him, we desire him, we are running constantly in the direction of him...just trying to get back home.
