Thank you.

So did some other cats:

“It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven"

"Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it. "

Nah. You don't understand Big Man.

But you feel me.

Lil Wayne the greatest poet?
He's not even the best rapper.
He's just in the right place at the right time with little originality.
(But I'm from an older generation and relate better to PE, BDP or Gang Star.)

Wayne should work on his vocals a bit more. To sing rock, you really gotta be able to blow.

When you think about where he came from, the things he's doing now are unpredecented. A dude from Holly grove N.O. who grew up slinging drugs and now he's arguably the biggest performer alive right now.

Ok, as i'm typing this i'm looking at the clip. He HAS been working on his vocs, at least a l'il bit.

That's awfully open-minded of you Doc.

That's why you my boy.

Black John. I hear ya Pops.

But PE and them cats are Oscar Robinson.

Lil Wayne is Lebron.

Great in their time. But really no contest.

While ppl have been fawning over the business acumen of Puffy, Cash Money is probably more deserving of a deep dive into their business model. It gets no more "hood" than Cash Money yet they have reinvented their niche sound and brand into a mainstream behemoth without losing their core audience. Rock is a bold and wise move.

Wayne is cool but the strategy and vision of Cash Money as a whole is what I'm most impressed by.

Prom Queen is a slick little headnodder. Anybody know who the background singer is?

KP. You a smart cat.

Everytime you post I'm impressed.

Never seen the background singer before. Nice touch.

I find the foot dragging reluctance of older plantation negros to acknowledge the swagger, foresight, business acumen, talent and ingenious artistry of these young cats ... punkish and annoying.

Thanks bruh.

the background singer looks pretty badd from here. The thickness was talkin' to me.

As far as Saul, Marcus is on point. The guy is oozing with talent and wisdom.

@ DV - Ouch! (But still funny as hell.)

Aint talkin' 'bout you Black John!!!

You my man.

Peep the archives. I've been battling the Rap Haters ever since it became trendy for frustrated negros to blame the problems of black America simply on Hip Hop.

Hell, I think the civil rights movement distracted black people from the course of economic empowerment that segregation had forced upon us, and created generations of Affirmative Action negros who think success is working for white folks.

Hip Hop is the anecdote to 40 years of civil rights nonsense.

Oscar?
At least give those listed the titles "Magic, Dr J and D .Dawkins"

But I'd have to give the LeBron comparison some credibility.
Both are at the top of their game(s) right now.

Oscar "Robinson"? Dang, youngblood. Now I know you're, like, 27 years old.

Ooops! Fugged that one up Mills. You got me.
