In case anyone is wondering, all the young ladies in the video are of legal age. You can check out the rest of their videos on youtube.

what are these strippers in training, this looks like it was shot in some Atlanta apartment...
Why is the focus on the dark skinned sista, and the two light skinned girls skitter outside of the camera shot.

Anonymous?

Moi?

Please. Bra you reaching.

I'm too much of a fan of my own lyrics to post anonymously.

Unless I'm commenting from the iPhone as I bounce in a golf cart between holes might I pop up as anonymous, and that is rare.

Plus. I don't give a shit about "legal age".

Child status expires with the clapping of butt cheeks.

Lincolnperry!

What's up brother? I like your style.

But all this "focus on dark skinned" stuff is pure projection.

What you do, take a course at the Mike Fisher School of Race Relations?

I may not always feel your politics but we are on the same wave length when it comes to the fairer sex.

Got nothin but luv for you Brave Charlestonian, but gotta call colourism out whereever it thrives!

Denmark Vesey said...

I hear you Linc.

Let's talk about that.

What do we do when colourism thrives mainly in our own heads?

lincolnperry said...

Wish that was the case...but BET has been proving me wrong for the last ten years!

Denmark Vesey said...

How is that my man?

Are you suggesting BET shows favoritism to a particular complexion?

Sometimes I wish I didn't read what you men are thinking...

Anonymous said...

Soteria, you say that like what men think has nothing to do with what women ... do.

Absoultely outside of Abiola Abram on BET J, what other news commentator looked like Michelle Obama or Naomi Campbell?

Its no abstract bro...its just the last plantation!

it's a vicious cycle in which weak, untutored women - lacking the crucial parenting help of a man - have unleashed babyboys (triflin, mad niggerish, and disrespectful) onto the world and these babyboys masquerading around in mens bodies have brought the general level of culture to this sad and sorrowful state.

i'm having to ratchet down and isolate the babeezy in my own son (we have a name for it, it's called Lolly, as in Lollygagging) and it's my duty to call it out to my son's attention every single time he falls under its influence. Cause he has to see it and learn to control it in himself.

My duty is to point it out to him and get him to want to address it and strike a balance with it. You can't kill it, but you have to come to terms with - and get a grip on it.

I can't even begin to imagine how a single mother could identify, much less handle, the babyboy essence Lolly (triflin, mad-niggerish, and disrespectful) that EVERY MALE must learn to put in check in order for a man to grow up out of that babyboy compost.

Strangely, the rapper who made this song also has a song called "Ratchet."

coincendence?

You need to lighten up a little homie. True, society's problems are grand and diverse, but you still gotta be able to laugh sometimes.

The fact that these three sisters made a video of themselves dancing int heir bedrooms and sent it out to the world makes me laugh. I don't agree with everything in it, but it makes me laugh. Folks are funny.

Big Man? Laughter? Really?

You and I are substantially different. Because after I washed my hands, I watched it again.

Soteria,

What he means is that most of what you do (as women) is largely for the reaction and attention of men.

Why do you dress the way you do?

Why do you get your hur did?

Why do you drive what you drive?

Why do you work out?

Why do you wear such tight pants to accentuate your curves?

While you can answer that you do those things for yourself, with the exception of healthy living or working out, you'd be lying to yourself.

If one of those funny girls was your daughter, would you find her butt-clapping antics funny?

If not, why not?
