"Arab Media" Portray Palestinians as courageous victims - LA Times

When it comes to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, balanced coverage in Arab media is often outweighed by pathos and narratives of funeral corteges proceeding amid the sounds of explosions.

Hello Jeffrey. I've been reading you in the Times for awhile. I particularly appreciated your coverage of the Somali Pirates back in November.

However, I am curious. Your article today implies the coverage of the Arab media is somewhat contrived by documenting dead children and the suffering of the Palestinian people.

How would you characterize the coverage of the Jewish media regarding this conflict?

I've read more people died last year on Texas highways after hitting deer, than have died in Israel because of Hamas rockets. Yet much of the coverage here suggests the massacre in Gaza is somehow a justified quid pro quo.

Honestly, which media coverage is more slanted?

Thank you,

I look forward to reading you in the future.

Denmark Vesey.
