The Israeli assault on Saturday brought the highest death toll in Gaza in years. Ehud Barak, the Israeli defense minister, said the campaign would expand as necessary, as the White House called on Israel to "avoid civilian casualties".

Because it assuages our guilt that we didn't want them settling here, after the jewish holocaust.

i wonder, when america wakes up to the anger of the rest of the world about supporting these terrorists (probably after the near decimation of the palestinian people) if we'll do something differently then, to assuage our guilt for allowing it to happen...nah, there's nothing in our 'bible' to justify it, jews are the good guys, palestinians are the bad guys cus 'god told us so.'

Because that's not who "we" are.

That's who some are. And those 'some' would like us to believe we are "all" that way.

CN, I don't think Zionist domination of American foreign policy and the universal complicity of the American media in the NeoCon / Israeli perpetuation of war, has anything to do with ... guilt ... over the "Holocaust".
