Bush Fires Missiles In Africa. US Negros Kept Oblivous and Uncaring

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Pentagon officials said Monday the United States launched an air strike in Somalia to go after a "terrorist" suspect.

In the strike early Monday, Somali police said three missiles hit a Somali town held by "Islamic extremists", destroying a home and seriously injuring eight people.

A Pentagon official said the U.S. military was going after an "al-Qaida "suspect in the town. As yet, there is no word on whether the suspect was hit. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak publicly about the strike.

1) Necessary for the "security" of Americans in Cleveland, Newark and Oakland ... or is the murder of African Muslims part of the organized effort to provoke global religious war between Islam and the West?

2) Is the US policy of bombing Africans, in Africa as deserving of the attention and energy of the "African-American" thinking class as was "Jena 6", or is it less deserving?

In order for Africa to move forward, they need to stay away from the US and other major world powers.

Just ask Kwame Nkrumah

My Brother you have opened a whole can of worms with this one. I read an article today that said africans are buying bleaching cream , we have to remain busey our peple are in trouble , just look at the shit this OBAMA , run for the white house has created.I am not hating on the O Man but I want you all to think about it? This Brother has to deny his middle name, deny the pix of OUR heritage , so I must question what his election to POTUS would change for all of us , we are co-dependent on global white supremacy???, we cannot depend on that system for anything.

This post and those questions demand a sincere response.

It is entirely deserving and worthy of our time and energy that we oppose the genocidal efforts of any actor who targets Black and Brown people anywhere in the world. This oppression has nothing at all to do with the safety and security of America and everything to do with the continued hegemony of the wealthy over the majority of the world's population. It is no more or less worthy than the Jena 6 issue.

As African-Americans, we have a special place in the history of the world. One could make the argument that we are indeed the chosen people of God, put through the tribulations for generations to make us worthy and wise enough to inherit the earth. African-Americans have survived the fire, ran the race against all odds, and now are poised in the very heart of the most powerful empire this world has ever known; positioned perfectly to elevate ourselves and the rest of the world to heights never before imagined.

But yet we do not. One could just as easily say that as a collective, we have fallen far short of our potential and our destiny. We are not what we should be in this country and subsequently, we are not capable of having a meaningful effect on the rest of the world. Instead of understanding we have become content with the status quo. Instead of learning from history we have become enamored with glorifying the latest celebrity, indulging in the latest fad and ignoring the perilous future. We are failing to grasp and shape our own destiny, content to simply exist in the land of milk and honey, apparently still happy with the scraps from the table.

It's all the same struggle. We simply haven't prepared ourselves, collectively, mentally, socially, economically; to take it all the way. I feel your pain on this.
