It will probably be oil that pushes it over the edge but then I could name 10 other things.
Gun are weapons of destruction, I see no good in them.
It boggles my mind why the citizens of the US feel such a need to arm themselves.
Accra, please consider the very real possibility that Americans arm themselves because unarmed people, like unarmed nations eventually get attacked.
I spent 17 years in the US, never owned a gun! Still don't own one....... there is no nation that is unarmed, and being less armed is usually not reason enough to get attacked.
Are we returning to the wild wild West ? Where disputes are settled with a gun..... God forbid!
Perhaps, Anonymous, the Palestinians would disagree with you.

Maybe as well that's why we are one of the most violent nations on the planet. Easier just to cap somebody when you don't see eye to eye?
DV, you think guns have enhanced the lives of the Palestinians? I certainly don't think they have presented a deterrent to the Israelis.
Guns won't free the Palestinians.
I don't think guns should be in the hands of anyone, and that include Isralis and Palestinians.

What would have changed? Does it make a difference if you die on a battlefield or survive in a slave camp?
