8 Homeruns From Hank Aaron's Record And Barry Bonds May Not Even Be Voted Onto The AllStar Team

What about this brother really makes them hate him so much?

Barry Bonds could become the home run king and fail to appear in an all-star game in his own home park in the same season.

Although he's slowly closing in on Hank Aaron's career record, Bonds dropped into fourth place this week among NL outfielders in voting by fans, who will select the eight starters.

Well, he's a great player, but he's an asshole too. He's been an asshole for along time. And he's ONE OF MANY PLAYERS, just like Marc McGuire, that people HATE.

How do you know he is an Asshole?

He is an Asshole to whom?

Who suggested to you that Barry Bonds was an Asshole?

I'll tell you. Asshole newspaper reporters.

I'm sure his family and friends and those who have personal contact with him don't think he is anymore of an asshole than your friends and family think you are.

I'm leery of public crucifixions.

Co-sign DV. J, you or I don't know Barry. He may be an asshole, but your entire perspective of the man is second and sometimes thirdhand. Reporters HATE Barry Bonds because he won't smile for them and he's not "approachable." SI Columnist Rick Reilly hates Barry Bonds and has admitted as much. Don't you think that will color his coverage? Barry has always been leery of the media because of how badly they treated his father Bobby.
